  • We have a collaborative and open approach - from our graduates to the most senior members of the team, with colleagues who are accessible and friendly
“You get that feel of being part of a smaller, 350-person business, but still have all the opportunities of working for a big multinational.”

We constantly innovate and reimagine the way we do things to deliver solutions that allow our clients to work better, smarter and faster. That’s why we work with state-of-the-art stacks and tools to create cutting-edge applications.
Software that changes how insurers work
Our software is built from the ground up to meet the specific needs of insurers, including: deciding what premiums to charge their clients, how to calculate the capital they need to hold, and how to automate processes to save time and money, etc. From SaaS, to Advanced Analytics, machine learning and AI, we’re constantly working on cutting-edge technology. We also work closely with leading industry partners, (for example, we’re a Microsoft Gold Partner).
“Our insurance technology business is investing in the research and development of advanced technology more than it ever has in the past. Right now we’re building next-generation products that will keep our insurance technology solutions at the cutting edge.”

  • Colleagues are encouraged to take their Corporate Social Responsibility Volunteer Day - a paid day that can be spent donating your time and talent to a local organization that supports and enhances our communities
  • Willis Towers Watson will match the money you raise for your chosen charity through the charity ‘Matching Gifts’ program

Duncan Anderson

“I’ve been here for over 30 years now and over that time had a variety of roles. And I think it’s the variety of work, the different career opportunities, coupled with the great people we have, which makes it such an exciting, and ultimately fulfilling, place to work.”

Mike

“I started with the team in Manilla in a technical role. I saw the role for Solutions Architecture advertised internally and my manager and I both thought I was a good fit for the job as I had software experience and business experience. I applied and now I’m based in Reigate and working as a Solutions Architect. And I love it!”

Quin Caryer

“It’s extremely exciting for me working in this business. You get that feeling of being part of a smaller 350 person business, but still having all the opportunities of working for a big multinational.”

Sam

“It’s a great working atmosphere. The work-life balance is really great. The products we make are really great. And I really enjoy the problem-solving aspect of my role. But the people are the main thing: everyone here is really, really friendly and willing to help you out with anything you need – especially when you’re just starting out.”

Andy Lingard

“We’re building next-generation products that will keep our insurance solutions at the cutting edge. To do that we have to apply the right kind of advanced technologies. Bringing this all together to deliver the advanced solutions our clients need is really exciting work.”

Andrew

“I thoroughly enjoy working with other Architects, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Software Engineers at Willis Towers Watson. We use cutting edge technology to provide reliable and innovative products to our clients. I joined as a Software Engineer and have now progressed into the role of System Architect. This has given me the opportunity to expand my architectural knowledge and contribute to the design of our products. It is exciting working with so many talented people.”

Nick

“Looking back over the last four-and-a-half years working with the technology team, I can clearly see that the skills that I’ve learned in each role have helped open the doors to my next role.”

Sarah

“I love working here because I can just be myself. No one puts you in a box, or expects you to be someone you’re not, or act in a certain way - or even to dress in a particular way. And I’ve never experienced that anywhere I’ve worked before!”

Monique

“You get the best of both worlds here. Being part of a small team means you get to know your colleagues really well – it’s a very personal environment. At the same time, as part of a large organisation you have the benefits that go with it, a clear structure and development opportunities – and the opportunity to move between teams.”

Ben

“I love the fact that everyone has a voice here. Teams feel empowered to go back to product owners not just to discuss the product and planned developments, but also to come up with new suggestions, new ways of building a product – and ultimately helping to deliver even better products for our clients.”

Duncan Anderson

“I’ve been here for over 30 years now and over that time had a variety of roles. And I think it’s the variety of work, the different career opportunities, coupled with the great people we have, which makes it such an exciting, and ultimately fulfilling, place to work.”

Scott

“With the help of a supportive team and leadership that was wise to challenge me, I am now a senior level technology consultant who has learned how to lead important solutions implementations in various Asia markets and who is also involved in helping support, grow, and lead our technical consultants here in APAC.”
Scott

Paulyn

“Anyone here can identify a career path that suits their needs as the team accepts internal applications for another post across teams which helps individuals explore their passions, talents and strengths. Endless opportunities await you.”
Paulyn

Clauie

“Being in an organization with such pool of talents challenges me to go out of my comfort zone and try different things. There are a lot of opportunities to grow and hone your skills to determine the career path you want to take”
Clauie

Zameirah

“I started as a Level 1 analyst. Almost 2 years later, I was given an opportunity to apply for a Shift Lead role and got promoted! The team has the right people who will push you to grow, discover your full potential and encourage you to succeed in different ways.”
Zameirah

Essie

“The best part of working here is the vast pool of talented people who would not only help clients, but help colleagues reach their goals as well. People thrive in the healthy work environment which reflects on how they treat their peers and in the quality of work! I've learned and grown a lot as an Analyst and as a person with the help of the team.”
Essie

Leo

“The work environment and excellent collaboration globally, plus having the management’s support on my endeavors, makes the work experience even better and worthwhile. This is a dynamic and growing organization, and with more clients and technologies coming our way, better opportunities and more learnings await. The best is yet to come for me here!”

Bertie

“When I joined the company I was in a small team helping to develop a single product, Igloo, developed in Delphi. Since then the product and the team has grown enormously and my role has continually evolved from being a developer on the original product to spending several years researching a re-write of the product followed by leading a development team to bring the new release to market. Now I split my time between helping to define the product roadmap, designing new features and being an active developer for Igloo.”

Sam

“The opportunities Willis Towers Watson has provided me have also helped enhance my career outside of the office. The work I do with Azure, around research and development, has helped me be awarded the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional award 3 years in a row.”

Raj

“I manage the Sydney based Engineering teams across three products. There is a sense of urgency in what we do, constantly looking for ways to improve. The teams are highly skilled and we are careful to hire great talent, so you are in good company. There is always healthy debate and discussion among the Engineers but also a sense of purpose where everyone is goal oriented, and does what needs to be done.”

Demid

“I would say that here in Willis Towers Watson, often it’s work at the bleeding edge. Sometimes it is challenging, but it keeps you on your toes and provides enormous opportunities for professional development.”

Pit

"During my short time here I have been given numerous opportunities to make an impact as well as grow as an engineer. I have been part of the recruitment process, interviewing candidates. I have architectured and implemented a rather large framework for analysing code snippets. And I was also given the opportunity to step in and do some project and people management while my manager was on leave.

This has made my first year interesting and exciting, and I feel like my input is valued and am excited to be part of a very productive team."

Pavan

“Willis Towers Watson is a great place to work, especially for developers like me who are interested in dealing with latest technologies and gaining exposure in all aspects of building a world-class software product. I start every day eager to work on the next important task and end the day by always learning something new and interesting.”

Maria

"I enjoy working with highly professional people in a friendly atmosphere, which leads us towards constant improvements and adoption of the latest technologies."

Ana

"I am working in a UI team and what I enjoy is that even after more than half a year in this role I am still learning new concepts and techniques. I genuinely value the fact that I am surrounded by experienced and very capable software engineers, who do not hesitate to offer their help and guidance, discussing and explaining the various software design decisions being made, and teaching me a lot in the process. An added benefit is the great work-life balance."
