    Description

    WTW is looking for a full-time Account Executive to join the Corporate Risks & Broking team in the Christchurch office. The candidate will assist the Account Director in providing client service to maintain and expand an existing book of business. This position requires a team player with strong interpersonal, organisational, and time management skills. Duties include assisting with claims management, managing the client database, and liaising with underwriters.

    The Role

    • Collaborate with the Account Director to ensure the effective administration of clients' risk management and insurance broking programs, focusing on delivering high-quality services aimed at client retention and business development.
    • Prepare client documentation, ensuring a high standard of accuracy before distribution to clients and insurers.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, clients, and other key stakeholders (both internal and external), representing WTW in a professional manner.
    • Maintain comprehensive client data on WTW systems, facilities, and databases.
    • Compare renewal terms with the previous year and advise brokers of any changes.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to facilitate the growth and success of WTW.
    • Work in conjunction with the offshore Operations Support team to ensure the preparation and delivery of documentation.
    • Liaise with Operations regarding any issues the team may encounter and provide suggestions for improvement.
    • Assist the Account Director in managing clients' claims by responding to clients' calls and inquiries, providing advice on the claim process, liaising with insurance assessors as required, and ensuring agreed claims standards are achieved and timely settlement of claims.
    • Ensure all documentation is prepared in accordance with company service and compliance procedures.

    Qualifications

    The Requirements

    • Strong administrative and support skills in insurance broking
    • NZ Level 5 Insurance Qualification (or equivalent) preferred
    • Effective oral & written communicator, individually and in small groups
    • Skilled in report writing and correspondence
    • Ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload
    • Team player with credibility and trustworthiness
    • Proficient in MS Office products
    • Knowledgeable in internet and intranet applications
    • Eager to learn and take on extra duties as needed
