    Description

    The GDC Team Leader will manage a team of Work & Rewards analysts and support client team requirements within the WTW organization. The role will be responsible for service delivery, regular performance reviews, developing skills within the team and managing capacity. The role will also be undertaking projects related to work and rewards programs covering, for example, market pay benchmarking, pay design and job levelling, In this role, the team leader will also be working with consultants that may be based in North America, Europe, Latin America, Middle East or Asia Pacific and the Service Delivery Leader (SDL)

    The Role

    • Effective liaison between the SDL and Managers in managing all transition activities within the team
    • Coordinate with the SDL in defining training needs that will impact delivery operations
    • Manage work allocation in accordance with practice guidelines, documented operating procedures, and performance standards
    • Oversee GDC team performance against established quality, security, efficiency, and client delivery standards. 
    • Ensure that work delivery consistently follows established standards and that the team functions under the highest level of quality and operational excellence
    • Drive team development, engagement and career planning for individual team members. Champion and advocate an atmosphere that will support employee retention
    • Effectively and proactively communicate project status and other reports to leadership and SDL
    • Place high attention to the detail of work and processes
    • Expected to spend 50% of productive time on client billable work on the following:
    • Research, collect, organize and present data in Excel and/or use WTW proprietary software
    • Conduct analysis (e.g. market pay benchmarking analysis) following specific methodologies and utilizing specific tools and templates
    • Perform industry and financial research as required
    • Populate and draft reports for client use using standardized templates and reports
    • Collaborate with consultants on client requests and deliverables
    • Develop technical knowledge in general rewards and executive compensation

    Qualifications

    The Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree with an analytical focus or any relevant discipline
    • 3+ years of experience as team leader / similar capacity
    • Self-starter who works well independently and with the team
    • Organized, detailed and followed consistent processes to ensure efficiency and quality
    • Experienced in project management and supervision end-to-end
    • Ability to coordinate, manage and track a high volume of work assignments
    • A stickler for day-to-day deadlines and superb attention to detail
    • Exceptional skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Pro-active and solutions-driven
    • Experience in coordinating with internal/external clients
    • Have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills towards local and foreign counterparts
    • Ability to work in shifts, real-time interaction required
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data effectively and produce high-quality results
    • Demonstrate sound and appropriate analytical judgement
    • 1-2 years of experience in market pay benchmarking work or similar desirable
