    Our Retirement team combines expertise in retirement, actuarial, compliance and administration consulting to support global organizations worldwide in designing, managing, administering, and communicating all types of retirement plans. Whether a client has a defined benefit pension, and/or a defined contribution plan, we collaborate with the organization to determine the right approach to design, funding, investing, governing, compliance, administration and employee engagement that fits their specific goals.

    As one of our Non-Discrimination Testing consultants, you will contribute to our national project delivery team and make a valuable difference every day to our high-profile client organizations. One of the fastest growing areas of our retirement business is assisting clients with various special projects requiring Non-Discrimination Testing for defined benefit and defined contribution plans.

    Non-Discrimination Testing Consultant

    WTW benefit consultants have deep experience working with organizations of all types and sizes.  We work closely with clients to develop some of the most advanced benefit design techniques currently in use.  We combine expertise in retirement and investment consulting to support organizations worldwide in designing, managing, administering and communicating all types of retirement plans. 

    As a Consultant specific to Non-Discrimination Testing, you will:

    • Have overall responsibility for the project success
    • Lead or support large, complicated client projects
    • Be able to assess the testing needs and options for complex projects
    • Review scopes of work, budgets and project plans 
    • Be one of the primary points of contact with the client for complex projects
    • Be available and help consultants address specific client needs and concerns
    • Help prepare and present client materials 
    • Effectively explain complex issues to the client in a clear and concise manner
    • Collaborate effectively with the team to guarantee the project's success
    • Coordinate nationally within WTW to build project support
    • Support tools, training, controls, and staff to ensure individual projects are successful
    • This is a Remote opportunity

    Qualifications

    Requirements

    • Ten or more years of experience performing all aspects of non-discrimination testing for retirement plans (both defined benefit and defined contribution plans) including coverage, QSLOBs, amount testing, and BRF testing
    • Experience with multiple employer plans is a plus
    • Solid mathematical and analytical skills
    • Operations experience leading and coordinating large groups and initiatives
    • Work experience that demonstrates strong technical, and/or client service and leadership skills
    • Passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed the standards of the client
    • Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, but also cooperatively in a close team environment
    • Ability to prioritize and have good attention to detail
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Ability to work with remote teams and travel as needed

    Time Commitment 

    • Majority of time, will be spent on Non-Discrimination Testing strategy delivery, and team building
    • Current client responsibilities and client team role to be evaluated in coordination with People Manager and leadership responsibilities

    Compensation and Benefits

    Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

    Compensation

    The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $110,000-$205,000 USD per year.

    This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
