    Description

    WTW has an exciting opportunity for a senior P&C Leader to join its Insurance Consulting and Technology (“ICT”) practice to lead our Pricing Product Claims and Underwriting (PPCU) consulting proposition group within the Nordic P&C markets. This is a senior leadership opportunity to be a principal figure within our respected P&C practice, providing best in class advisory services and technology solutions, holistically supporting our clients’ Pricing, Product, Claims and Underwriting requirements.

    You will drive the development of our market-leading Personal and Commercial lines practices, working beside some of the European market’s top thought leaders, designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions to solve the challenges and exploit the opportunities faced by some of the world’s top general insurers, intermediaries, and other underwriting entities. 

     

    The Role 

    • Be a leading representative and advocate of WTW consulting services and technology solutions, providing innovation and quality assurance to our client deliverables
    • Utilise deep technical expertise of Pricing, Product, Underwriting and Claims to improve and imbed our client offerings
    • Be a domain expert in technology, modern applications, and techniques and how to offer support for our clients’ deliverables, driving value for our clients
    • Be able to identify opportunity and client need within PPCU and act as a link between the PPCU and Reserving and Capital propositions
    • Oversee the management of bespoke, complex projects, supporting colleagues to deliver and excel day to day
    • Have material responsibility in proposition development and execution to support top line growth within the Nordic markets and in the wider ICT practice
    • Work collaboratively on a range of projects/internal responsibilities, and manage priorities appropriately
    • Maximise existing market profile to build and develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of client work
    • Contribute to the development of the company’s intellectual property including plans for taking this to market
    • Create, develop, and present proposals to potential clients, demonstrating the economic value of the company’s offerings
    • Contribute and support our global colleagues to achieve the continued high performance and growth of the wider ICT team, by interfacing with colleagues from other practices and regions on assignments that reflect our clients’ broader business issues
    • Develop our senior team by providing leadership, guidance and support with technical aspects, client management and new business development whilst serving as a guide and mentor to more junior associates

     

     

    Qualifications

    The Requirements 

    • Deep expertise in PPCU proposition development that can support the Nordic and wider European markets within WTW’s ICT division. 
    • Established market credibility, with the ability to leverage an existing network and develop further 
    • Strategic vision and business acumen
    • Demonstrate a natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients/colleagues at all levels including being able to command the room of c-suite clients
    • Be an advocate for the development of analytical approaches and the adoption of new techniques
    • The ability to see the "big picture”, leveraging the resources of related practices to address clients’ business challenges. Able to demonstrate the ability to interact and collaborate across propositions, with previous experience working within Reserving and Capital an asset
    • Demonstrable leadership, interpersonal and commercial skills, with previous experience fostering relationships and the ability to earn trust across multi-disciplinary teams locally and globally both internally and externally
    • Business development mindset with an interest and aptitude for innovation, quality assurance and providing best-in-class service
    • You can expect your normal in-office interactions to be located in Stockholm and you will be flexible to travel on an as needed basis, domestically and internationally
