The Opportunity

The QA Analyst will be responsible for ensuring software quality through manual and automated testing, with a focus on developing and maintaining testing frameworks. Working as part of the Test Centre of Excellence (TCoE), the role involves providing automation expertise and ensuring that QA processes for the VEOS Motor Fleet project meet agreed quality standards. The successful candidate will collaborate across teams to influence product and technology decisions, promote best practices, and contribute to a positive, results-oriented working environment.

What will you do?

You will collaborate directly with all members of the team on design ideas to influence product and technology decisions. 

Automation Expertise:

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and scripts.
• Develop and maintain API automation testing as part of the overall framework.

Collaboration & Leadership:

• Work as part of a centralised TCoE team.
• Provide QA automation-related vision and direction to local QA teams (both IT Partner and WTW).
• Collaborate with engineering teams to find viable solutions for automation challenges.
• Handhold and train QA’s across TCoE to enhance automation proficiency.

Quality & Efficiency:

• Analyse automated test coverage and identify areas for improvement.
• Review automation progress to ensure code quality standards are maintained.
• Design and develop automation-specific metrics, ensuring timely publication.
• Proactively bring issues to the team’s attention and propose innovative solutions.

Collaboration & Teamwork:

• Promote a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
• Foster a positive contribution within high-performing, results-driven teams.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement:

• Generate and implement solutions to challenges.
• Recommend solutions based on experience and industry best practices.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

• Experience in Quality Assurance, with a focus on UI and API automation.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Hands-on QA automation testing for web and mobile applications, including RESTful APIs.
• Proven experience in developing automation frameworks from scratch.
• Knowledge in Selenium WebDriver using C# and the .NET framework, as well as Coded UI and VSTS.
• Experience with version control systems such as GIT, TFS, or SVN.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies, including TDD, BDD, and CI/CD.
• Programming skills in both C# and Java.
• Solid hands-on experience with databases and SQL, combined with a strong understanding of the .NET environment, including MS-SQL, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, and IIS.
• A good command of both French and English is required.
• A passion for troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges.
