The role of a Senior Operations Executive is expected to deliver high level of support to brokers in term of technical and timing for growing client portfolio including new and renew, maintain good practices, ensure our operations compliance with company’s and Group’s guideline, involve in the success of transformation projects.
The Role
• Daily deliver timing, operational and technical support to business , including but not limited to:
o Pre-placement: monitor renewal or create new opportunities in Client relationship management (CRM D365) system, monitor Know Your Client results for renewal clients, sanction screening upon required, support review Broker Agreement/Nondisclosure Agreement;
o Post placement: billing in the servicing platform, conduct compliance check on Broker Agreement, Compulsory insurance requirements and operational check on market security, cross-border, third party, market-derived income, non-standard brokerage and sanction approval.
• Operational Risk - work in partnership with brokers, compliance and other corporate functions to enhance our processes, procedures, data quality, 1st line controls practice (cross-border element, Sanction and Market security, compliance with company guideline and best practices, excellence review,…), conduct monthly Excellence review and provide feedback to brokers;
• Projects – contribute to the Vietnam transformation project, and will be continue to deliver other change initiatives to enhance client and colleague experience to support strategic priorities / risk management, including operating model transformation, process standardization, process improvement, integration and restructuring;
• Coordinate with Accounting Department to reconcile premium and/or commission, remind premium due (including installments);
• Other tasks assigned by local operations manager as required.
The requirements
In order to succeed in this role, you must have:
• 5-7 years of experience in non-life insurance, preferrable in underwriting/policy management;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• A great “support” attitude to make progress and improvement;
• Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities;
• Strong attention to detail and work well with system;
• Discipline with guideline;
• Desire to develop technical knowledge and become an internal supporting expert (system and data management, deep understanding in placement model and operational risks);
• Experience in general office management (as a plus).
