Description
An opportunity has arisen to join our centralised facilities team supporting the widely publicised *Gemini Auto Follow Facility, for a Facilities Operations Specialist focussing on reporting.
Gemini is a new market facility that has been developed by Willis Limited (WL) in conjunction with Canopius as the lead insurer. This client facility will be 100% Lloyd’s consortium, providing auto-follow capacity across all in-scope syndicated placements and lines of business globally, providing a well-balanced and diverse portfolio. working under the remit of the delegated authority binder.
This is an excellent chance to join a worldwide WTW broking initiative, providing management information and bordereaux reporting to underwriters for the Gemini binding authority agreement. Currently this includes GB, North America, Dubai and Singapore, and will continue to expand globally through to 2027.
The Role:
More details will evolve as the project gains momentum, but initially you will provide business and operational support for the ongoing running and management of Gemini including:
Need to implement and deliver contractual outcomes for Canopius and the Consortium market regarding deliver of risk written, exposure and cyber bordereaux
- Work with and on-board new countries preparing to use Gemini regarding reporting needs and requirements
- Liaise with internal partners in the business and technology teams to ensure data quality from Broking Platform and Contract Builder and implement automation opportunities
- Engage with Gemini Lloyds syndicates to review issued bordereaux and discuss and agree improvements to delivery and quality of data
- Focal point for queries and query management resolution regarding Gemini processes and best practice
- Resolution of issues raised by internal and external auditors
- Provide business support to the leader of Gemini at WTW
- Support and develop business changes through the rollout of Gemini
Qualifications
What you’ll bring
We are ideally seeking candidates with insurer service background, with delegated authority experience preferred. We are also open to insurance professionals who may want to develop their careers in this direction. Additionally, experience or an interest in transformation or projects would also be helpful.
- Knowledge of Lloyds V5.2 risk written bordereaux reporting standards
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
Strong working knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Excel and Power BI
- Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external partners
- Enjoy working within a team environment but also comfortable working autonomously
