The Balance of Trade (BoT) initiative supports our ability to unlock the holistic relationship with our vendor partners and equips our leaders with the resources to focus on sustainable, mutually beneficial outcomes and embed a One WTW growth mindset in our approach to the relationship.  Exploring where and how value can be created in our B2B relationships requires establishing robust and scalable processes, growing our skills and capabilities across relevant stakeholders, and increasing WTW’s culture and appetite to build our holistic relationship with selected client-vendors.

The BoT Analyst role is responsible for leveraging data and analytical tools to enhance WTW’s understanding of and engagement on potential BoT opportunities.  The BoT Analyst works with the broader BoT team to respond to BoT inquiries from the business and functional teams and to establish processes and develop supporting collateral.  The BoT Analyst works closely with the Procurement, Finance, Sales Operations and Technology teams to build and maintain core models that deliver actionable insights to senior leaders to drive financial performance and operational efficiency.
The Role
Key responsibilities include: 
•    Improve existing Power BI model, including refining security requirements, assessing programming of backend data aggregations, and refreshing visualization report for view of individual relationships and for aggregate review
•    Provide technical support for Power BI platform, including ensuring periodic data feeds are received and processed, identifying issues and maintain risk logs to update platform as needed, and maintaining changes to flags related to Balance of Trade
•    Maintain and update supplier | client key, including working with the data teams to continue to identify new suppliers and changes to supplier and client family trees
•    Respond to Balance of Trade inquires (with support from BoT team)
o    Implement process improvements and templates, as needed
•    Maintain approved stakeholders list
•    Develop and maintain collateral and guidance documents, as needed
•    Perform survey process to track balance of trade progress and effort 
•    Carry out ad-hoc analyses (e.g. assessments of segmentation, prioritization) and produce standardized reports for senior leaders to inform their decision-making.
•    Create presentations and reports, as required
•    Maintain Key Performance Indicators, including satisfaction and outcomes, including inputting key data into the CRM and Balance of Trade tools for tracking
 

Qualifications

Graduation in any discipline
 

The Requirements

•    Knowledge in data science, statistics, mathematics, computer science, finance, or a related field
•    2+ years of experience in a related field 
•    Advanced skills in Power BI and other data visualization tools 
•    Proficient in other Microsoft Office tools – Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Fabric
•    Good knowledge of project management processes and systems
•    Document management, presentation and report writing skills
•    Process orientated, with strong planning ability and attention to detail
•    A team player with a strong desire to achieve excellence
