We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Learning & Development (L&D) Lead to deliver impactful talent development initiatives for approximately 700 Investment professionals across our Europe and International regions. While the role is ideally based in the UK, we are open to considering applications from across Europe and encourage candidates from any European location to apply if they are interested in the opportunity.

Working closely with the global Investments L&D team, key business stakeholders, regional HR Business Partners, the role will support seamless, meaningful learning experiences that support colleague growth, engagement and success.

As L&D Manager for our Europe and International regions, you will coordinate, facilitate and support the end-to-end delivery of the Investments L&D agenda. You will bring people together across regions, cultures and time zones, ensuring learning initiatives are delivered with structure, care, and impact. Drawing on both Investments-specific training content and central L&D offerings, you will help colleagues access the learning resources they need to thrive in their careers.  

You will also contribute to relevant global colleague working groups where appropriate, ensuring L&D priorities are reflected in the people strategy and support an inclusive and engaging colleague experience for all.

The Role

  • Contributes as an active member of the global L&D team, sharing expertise, insights, and support to help advance strategic priorities and deliver impactful development initiatives across regions.
  • Facilitates engaging leadership and professional development workshops for colleagues, people managers, and leaders across diverse backgrounds and career stages.  
  • Designs and delivers in-person, virtual, and self-service learning solutions for colleagues  across the Europe and International regions including people manager development, Elevate 53, Investments Training Portal, onboarding, and other learning initiatives aligned to business needs.
  • Contributes to global flagship programmes such as the Investments Leadership Program (ILP).
  • Leads the end-to-end delivery of global talent development initiatives, managing timelines, dependencies, and risks across project streams.  
  • Partners with colleagues across regions, cultures and time zones, fostering strong relationships and aligning delivery consistently against plan.  
  • Partners with local SMEs to deliver technical learning solutions aligned with business and colleague development needs.  
  • Acts as a central point of connection within the global L&D team, helping align priorities, share knowledge, and drive progress against shared objectives.  
  • Builds and maintains relationships with facilitators, coaches, and external partners to support inclusive, engaging, high-quality learning experiences.  
  • Uses participant feedback, insights, and data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhance the overall learner experience.  
  • Supports the effective management of budgets, learning technologies, and communications to increase accessibility, efficiency, and colleague engagement.  
  • Oversees professional qualifications across Europe and International in line with global service management.
  • Provides guidance and study support for colleagues pursuing professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, CAIA). 

 

This role offers an opportunity to build on existing Learning & Development expertise while gaining exposure to a diverse portfolio of global programmes, initiatives, and strategic projects. Working closely with colleagues across the Investments L&D team and broader WTW HR function, you will have the opportunity to expand your skills, broaden your network, and contribute to shaping meaningful learning experiences for colleagues around the world. 

Qualifications

What you'll bring: 

  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience delivering learning and development offerings including, program delivery and facilitation, coaching, and project management in a corporate or professional services environment, with a focus on improving performance, enhancing delivery and supporting commercial outcomes.  
  • Strong organisational skills, with experience managing projects, coordinating tasks, timelines and stakeholders across multiple workstreams and countries.  
  • A collaborative, people-focused approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.  
  • Clear, thoughtful communication skills and the confidence to bring clarity and structure to shared priorities.  
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, with some experience leveraging AI tools to improve efficiency and delivery.  
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Bachelor's degree: advanced degree or professional CIPD certification preferred.
