As part of the Lisbon Center and Investment Consulting Team, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our consultants in the investment consulting offices.

The Role

 

The Investment Consulting Analyst is a client-facing, analytical role supporting consultants to provide advice to clients on a range of investment-related services.  

The role focuses on investment strategy, asset allocation, risk management, and performance monitoring, combining analytical expertise with strong communication skills.

You will work in a collaborative environment alongside consultants, portfolio managers, and specialist teams, contributing to high-impact client solutions and strategic investment decisions.

You’ll collaborate on a wide range of projects and responsibilities will include:

  • performance reporting, measurement and evaluation

  • strategic setting of investment objectives

  • strategic asset allocation, using asset-liability modelling and risk analysis tools and techniques

  • portfolio construction, including investment management structures and selection

  • investment manager monitoring

  • review of sustainable investment characteristics of investment structures

  • Support team members in the construction and delivery of presentations to clients
  • regulatory support, including preparing statements of investment policy, implementation statements and assisting with preparation of pension scheme accounts.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Business, Econmics, FinanceMathematics, or in other quantitative studies. Other qualifications may be considered based on experience;
  • Progress toward or completion of the CFA is highly valued;
  • 1–5 years of relevant experience; 
  • Fluent speaking/writing in English;     
  • Strong communicator, detail oriented, numerical, and flexible;
  • Proficiency in IT tools, in particular MS Office such as Excel;
  • Can-do attitude with a strong sense of responsibility;
  • You thrive in collaborative team environments and enjoy working with others to achieve our goals; 

  • You have strong project management skills and good organizational abilities as well as an aptitude for managing multiple tasks at the same time.
