Overview of the role:
As a P&C Senior Consultant in ICT, you will be responsible for managing / leading the delivery of a variety of projects across pricing, predictive analytics, claims transformation, merger & acquisitions, reserve valuation, RBC, IFRS 17 etc for our P&C clients mainly across South East Asia & Australia (SEAA). You will also act as the Radar/ Emblem technical SME in the SEAA region.
You will be responsible for reviewing the analysis and presenting the results and recommendations, and managing the delivery on a variety of pricing, predictive analytics and data science projects, supporting client engagements relating to Emblem/Radar Enhanced Analytics (REA)/Radar solutions. Beyond PPCU, you may also be involved on other broader P&C projects including reserve valuation, RBC, IFRS 17 as well as M&As for our P&C clients across South East Asia. Many of the projects will involve using WTW’s market leading actuarial software and techniques to produce customised solutions for our clients. 
You will also be driving/supporting the development of the P&C Product, Pricing, Claim and Underwriting (PPCU), Claims & data science and/or Health proposition in SEAA and support on business development activities and client communication. 
Working style: mostly remote (optional: hybrid)
Key responsibilities include:
Clients 
•    Serve as the project manager/lead, ensuring the progress against established project scope, budget, timeline, deliverables and quality standards
•    Support/drive the PPCU, Claims/Data Science and/or Health proposition development and go-to-market/business development activities in SEAA activities
•    Drive/support on sales and marketing efforts e.g. proposals, RFPs, software demos, software trials, POCs, presentations and pitches
•    Deliver on projects to meet or exceed client expectations 
•    Work as part of a multidisciplinary consulting team to develop value-added solutions for the clients 
•    Develop a trusted advisor relationship with client contacts through effective communication and efficient, quality execution of projects

•    Manage project budget and plans efficiently

•    Build strong relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams 
•    Serve as mentor to junior team members

•    Contribute to continuous improvement and promote innovative culture within the business to drive the development of new ideas, services offerings and propositions.
 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or any other related quantitative fields
  • 10 – 18 years of general insurance experience with at least 5 years of experience in general insurance pricing (especially on Motor / personal lines)
  • Strong technical expertise and working experience with WTW’s Radar software (e.g. Emblem, REA, Radar Base, Radar Live) is a pre-requisite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills  
  • Good progress with actuarial exams from recognised International Actuarial Bodies
  • Good understanding of the general insurance landscape, regulations, and market trends in the region
  • Proven experience in successfully managing multiple projects and producing quality deliverables on time and within budget
  • Self-driven achiever, and able to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Good time management skills, and able to manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently

Broad understanding across IFRS 17, reserving, M&A and/or pricing
