Overview

The Treasury Analyst supports the day-to-day cash management, liquidity, and banking operations of the North America Treasury function, with strong emphasis on US GAAP accounting principles, banking system knowledge, and treasury technology. This role monitors North America Oracle Cash Management activities, performs cash flow analysis, and prepares related reporting, while contributing to the development of treasury strategies including AI, process improvements, and departmental leadership initiatives. Additional responsibilities include management of global netting activities, operational support, and ensuring compliance with treasury department policies and regulatory requirements.

 

Location: This is a hybrid position in Nashville, TN (at least once a week in the office)

 

The Role

  • Produce accurate cash forecasts by monitoring bank accounts, analyzing trends, and ensuring availability of required cash resources

  • Prepare and present treasury reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to senior management

  • Perform daily treasury activities such as liquidity analysis, releasing fund transfers, and journal entry review in accordance with US GAAP

  • Advise financial operations on movement of funds and banking transaction processing

  • Support Cash Management systems and banking platforms

  • Participate in the management of global intercompany netting activity

  • Partner with functional areas such as tax, accounting, payroll, A/P, A/R, and IT to support business requirements

  • Identify and drive process improvements in treasury operations, utilizing treasury management systems, banking platforms, and other analytical tools

  • Participate in the management of debt activity and banking relationships

  • Contribute to the development and execution of treasury department strategy and long-range planning

  • Recommend and implement solutions to strengthen operational and banking controls and incorporate best practices

  • Maintain and update treasury policy and procedure manuals

  • Support treasury projects and initiatives, including process implementation, requirements gathering, gap analysis, rollout, and training

  • Complete ad hoc projects and analyses as required

 

 

Qualifications

The Requirements 

  • 5+ years of experience in treasury, banking operations, and/or accounting

  • Demonstrated experience applying US GAAP in a treasury or accounting environment

  • Experience with financial management systems, such as Oracle and IT2

  • Experience leading or contributing to strategic treasury initiatives and process improvement projects

  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles, including cash and treasury-related journal entries, account reconciliations, and their financial statement impact

  • Significant knowledge of US banking operations and services — including wire transfers, ACH, SWIFT messaging, lockbox processing, and bank account structures — as they relate to treasury operations

  • Proficiency with treasury management systems (TMS) and banking platforms (e.g., Oracle Cash Management, IT2, and bank online portals)

  • Contribute to the development of treasury strategy, policies, and best practices

  • Knowledge of banking industry regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., KYC, OFAC, Regulation CC)

  • Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel

 

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred

  • CTP preferred
