Description

We are seeking a Technical Implementation Engineer to join our product delivery team, responsible for implementing and delivering customized, client-specific solutions. This role is primarily focused on application implementation, combining SQL development, system configuration, deployment, and moderate .NET development.

The position requires a strong technical foundation, with the ability to work across multiple responsibilities, including development, business analysis, and client-facing collaboration—within an Agile (Kanban-based) delivery environment.

The Role

Application Implementation & Delivery

  • Implement and deliver configured and customized solutions based on client requirements
  • Deploy, configure, and initialize client environments
  • Implement portal solutions from base products, including custom modules, web services, and workflows
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in implementation and configuration

Development (Primary Focus: SQL)

  • Perform heavy SQL development, including: 
    • Stored procedures
    • Views
    • Query optimization
  • Contribute to .NET / C# development where required
  • Work with related tools such as SQL Server Management Studio, Visual Studio, and IIS

 

Analysis & Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Provide effort estimation and evaluate technical feasibility for queued work items
  • Act as both a developer and business analyst when required

Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Develop test plans, test cases, and scripts
  • Perform unit and end-to-end testing
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure solution quality before deployment

Process & Documentation

  • Follow defined processes and protocols for implementation
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in processes and documentation
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of team documentation and standards

Support & Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Assist in handling client escalations
  • Support production systems when needed

 

Work Profile / Technology Mix

  • 40–50%: SQL Development (Stored procedures, views, optimization)
  • 20–30%: .NET Development (C# / ASP.NET)
  • 10–20%: Single Sign-On (SSO) configuration
  • 10–20%: Support and troubleshooting
     

Qualifications

The Requirement

  • 3+ years of experience in: 
    • SQL Server (2008+) and T-SQL
    • Developing or supporting web-based applications (.NET / ASP.NET / C#)
  • Strong experience in: 
    • SQL Server Management Studio
    • Visual Studio
    • GIT / Team Foundation Server
    • IIS Configuration
  • Front-end knowledge: 
    • JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders

 

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Experience with: 
    • Windows Services
    • PowerShell
    • Content Management Systems
    • Azure or AWS fundamentals
    • Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations
    • Familiarity with SaaS-based delivery models
