Key Responsibilities
 

Employee Relations
•    Serve as the primary advisor for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution.
•    Guide managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and coaching.
•    Conduct investigations into employee complaints and recommend appropriate actions.
•    Develop and implement programs to enhance company culture, inclusion, and diversity.
•    Analyze turnover trends and recommend mitigation strategies.
•    Champion a high-performing culture by supporting development meetings and ongoing communication.
Labor Compliance
•    Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws, government policies, and internal HR policies.
•    Regularly review and update HR policies and procedures to reflect legal and organizational changes.
•    Monitor and report on compliance metrics, proactively addressing gaps and risks.
•    Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements.

Performance Objectives
Excellence
•    Establish and analyze human capital data and HR program effectiveness, focusing on employee relations and compliance metrics.
•    Review labor law, labor market, government policy and the structure of the economy affecting employee welfare and labor proceedings.
•    Implement programs to develop behavioral skills and productivity, leveraging corporate and regional resources.
•    Ensure consistent and effective application of Global HR processes and compliance standards taking into consideration local requirements.
People
•    Support internal movement of colleagues (transfers, promotions, secondments) in compliance with policy.
•    Partner with the business to design and deliver HR plans aligned with local business needs and labor market requirements.
•    Lead initiatives to foster inclusion, diversity, and a respectful workplace.
Clients
•    Serve as a trusted advisor to consultants, practice leaders, and business leaders on complex employee relations and compliance matters.
•    Work with managers to outline appropriate counselling and disciplinary steps and to ensure proper actions are taken in cases of involuntary terminations. 
•    Ensure effective and timely communication of HR programs, policies, and compliance initiatives.
•    Collaborate with business leaders to manage performance issues, provide guidance on effective coaching and counselling, and ensure proper documentation and process adherence.
•    Act as local office champion for work/life issues; coordinate with managers on alternative work arrangements, lead best place to work initiatives – help local offices to pursue innovative and best practice approaches to work/life issues which also support business objectives. 
•    Ensure consistent and effective application of HR processes and programs.
•    Work with leaders to identify and correct high-turnover situations.
•    Ensure discussions with office leaders are managed effectively, based on mutual trust and mutually shared interests.
•    Work with office leaders to champion the High Performing Culture – reinforce the objectives and expected outcomes of the process, ensure training of new hires, and facilitate all phases of communications and follow-up training as needed. 
•    Facilitate termination process as needed.
Financial
•    Utilize HR analytics and reporting to help manage labor relations costs and compliance-related risks.
•    Understand regional financial performance and incorporate insights into HR planning and compliance programs.
 


 

Qualifications

•    College degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
•    At least 3 years of relevant HR experience, with a focus on employee relations and compliance, preferably in professional or shared services industry.
•    Working knowledge of Philippine employment law and regulatory requirements.
•    Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
•    Experience using AI-driven HR platforms, analytics tools, or automation solutions is an advantage
•    Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities – evidence of project management competencies
•    Experience in leading high-performing teams, and working across geographies
•    Ability to work independently and function well in a team and matrix environment 
•    Excellent networking and client relationship development capabilities
•    Willingness to work on EMEA or early NA shift
