Drawing on the experiences of our colleagues, one message comes through clearly: wellbeing is more than a benefit, it's part of our culture. Whether it's taking time to recharge, available resources that support mental and physical health or simply knowing colleagues have your back, wellbeing is woven into the way we work every day.

The flexibility to prioritize wellbeing

For Marianne Escanilla, Business Operations Lead for Creative Services in the Philippines, one of the most meaningful aspects of working with us is the support colleagues show when your health needs to come first.

"WTW is very big on wellbeing and at the beginning of my career it's imparted already that we need to prioritize it. That includes all its aspects: mental, physical, emotional and that I think is something that I really value because my colleagues and even the company provide a space for us to prioritize the things that matter."

That support becomes especially important during busy periods or when people need time to rest and reset. Marianne explains that colleagues come together to ensure work is covered so individuals can focus on what they need.

"When I say that I need to take time off just to prioritize my wellbeing then people are supportive of that. My colleagues within the team work around that knowledge, people work together so that work is covered and the person who needs that break or that time off can easily just prioritize their wellbeing and rest."

Resources to help colleagues thrive

Across WTW, wellbeing is supported through a range of initiatives that encourage colleagues to look after their physical, mental and emotional health. According to Bing Guevara, HR Cluster Leader in the Philippines, these opportunities create valuable moments for colleagues to learn, connect and reflect.

"We have different webinars and activities that are geared towards supporting the wellbeing of colleagues so it's not just physical it also includes mental and emotional wellbeing."

From stress management sessions to health-focused webinars, colleagues are encouraged to take practical steps that support health both inside and outside of work.

As Bing shares, "One of the seminars was about fatigue and stress management and our colleagues enjoyed the Men's Health webinar because they said that they got to learn that, 'Oh my gosh, I need to sleep more often, I need to be mindful of what I eat and I need to move more.'”

Beyond the benefits themselves, these activities also help strengthen connections between colleagues.

"All of this actually helps not just in the wellbeing but also employee engagement because they get to exchange their ideas, their views and even comments so they really look forward to these activities,” Bing explains.

Feeling supported every step of the way

While wellbeing means different things to each person, the experiences shared by colleagues highlight a common thread: a workplace where people feel supported, encouraged to prioritize their health and empowered to bring their best selves to work. Here, wellbeing isn't just something we talk about, it's something we actively foster through our culture, our colleagues and the way we support one another every day.
