Throughout his career at WTW, Jonathan has been energized by solving complex challenges and collaborating with people who inspire him, motivators that continue to shape his approach to leadership and impact.

“I have always been driven by two core motivators: people and puzzles.”

Building a foundation through service

Jonathan began his journey at WTW as a Customer Service Representative. Early on, he recognized that every call mattered. It was a chance to help individuals understand their benefits, navigate important life moments and feel supported when it mattered most.

Those early experiences helped Jonathan develop a strong foundation rooted in service, empathy and accountability, principles that continue to influence his work today.

“Each interaction was an opportunity to positively impact someone’s life.”

Growing into leadership and expanding impact

As he progressed into Supervisor, Manager and broader leadership roles, the scope of Jonathan’s impact expanded. While his responsibilities evolved, his purpose remained unchanged.

He shifted his focus toward developing people and future leaders, helping colleagues refine their skills while strengthening the experience delivered to clients.

For Jonathan, leadership has always been about creating conditions for others to grow with confidence.

“While the nature of my impact changed, the purpose stayed the same.”

Solving puzzles and challenging the Status Quo

Alongside his people-focused approach, Jonathan’s passion for solving puzzles has been a defining element of his career. He believes that effectiveness should never be taken for granted, and that every process can be improved.

From his earliest roles, Jonathan was encouraged to apply creative thinking, challenge existing ways of working and share ideas for improvement. As his career evolved, that mindset scaled across teams and initiatives, influencing how colleagues access knowledge, understand career progression and work more efficiently together.

“Just because something works doesn’t mean it’s the most effective solution.”

Mobility, change and continued growth

A pivotal moment in Jonathan’s career was a cross-country move, driven by an opportunity to help develop and expand a call center’s capabilities. Like many major transitions, it came with uncertainty and moments of self-doubt.

Over time, Jonathan discovered that the same qualities that had helped him progress previously (trusted leadership, consistent values and a strong commitment to development) were just as present in his new location.

That experience reinforced his belief in internal mobility and strengthened his connection to WTW’s culture. Seeing consistent leadership behaviors across geographies confirmed that a path forward at WTW isn’t limited by location.

The power of leadership

Strong mentors and managers have played a defining role in Jonathan’s progression. Throughout his career, the people he has worked with empowered their teams, welcomed feedback, listened with intention and invested in individual development.

Their example not only shaped Jonathan’s career journey but also continues to influence the kind of leader he strives to be today.

“Without the leadership support I’ve experienced at WTW, I wouldn’t be where I am today.”
