Real-world experience, real-world impact: Abi’s apprenticeship in International Casualty

mai 19 2025

When Abi joined WTW as a Business Support Assistant Apprentice in our International Casualty team, she didn’t just want to learn, she wanted to contribute. And that’s exactly what she’s doing.

“What I love most about my apprenticeship is the hands-on experience I get in my daily role,” Abi says. From day one, she’s been trusted with responsibilities that matter, giving her the chance to develop both her confidence and her abilities.

Abi thrives on the client-facing aspect of her role. “I’ve gained good skills and knowledge from acting in a real-world environment.”

That’s the heart of our apprenticeship programs at WTW. They’re built to give talented individuals like Abi a strong foundation, while also making room for growth. “The program offers a supportive and structured learning plan to help you pass all your exams,” she explains. “And once that’s done, there are so many opportunities to continue developing your career.”

For Abi, this support has created a space where she feels both guided and empowered. She’s not just checking boxes, she’s making progress that feels meaningful.
