The Role

Develop the market-leading ICM (Igloo Capital Model), used by insurers and reinsurers around the world
Work with clients and other partners to design, develop and implement new technologies and statistical techniques
Contribute to Igloo product development, working with the development team to shape the future of Igloo
Be at the forefront of stochastic modelling with a broad and growing variety of applications

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

Newly or nearly qualified actuary or equivalent
Experience of capital modelling or reinsurance pricing
Demonstrable interest in coding. Expertise in a coding language, preferably Igloo, Python or SQL.
Excellent client relationship skills: ability to develop strong relationships quickly and maximize resources effectively to achieve goals
Proven success working in a fast-paced, high pressure environment and self sufficient
Strong organizational abilities and flexibility to work in a performance-driven environment managing multiple deliverables
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong experience with applicant tracking systems
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a numerical based degree
