About the team

The Credit Risk Solutions team partners with new and existing WTW clients to design, place, and manage tailored credit insurance and risk mitigation programs. The team drives new business growth while managing end‑to‑end client relationships, working closely with insurers and internal stakeholders to deliver optimal client outcomes aligned with global business strategy.

 

Role

  • Sourcing new clients to have product spectrum of Credit Risk Solutions, for existing WTW clients and new to WTW clients
  • Working with new clients to review their existing programs, presenting the best possible solutions and client outcomes
  • Taking responsibly for account management of clients onboarded; including broking/placement strategy, product development, portfolio management and expanding client relationships
  • Working with existing clients to review their existing programs, presenting the best possible solutions and client outcomes
  • Negotiation of policy wordings / contract reviews
  • Contribute to delivery of our new business strategy and targets within the Global Line of Business
  • Proactively lead initiatives for new and existing clients
  • Attend industry events and conferences in India
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with the Insurers 
  • Develop good working relationships and work closely with the main carriers in India
  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of existing placements, including billing, operational requirements and co-ordination with internal claims team

Qualifications

Requirements

  • Educated to Degree level and/or Masters
  • Ability to work independently on a business development, range of placements and take responsibility for key accounts
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills essential
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, oral & presentation) skills and interpersonal skills essential
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment where lateral thinking, initiative, self-motivation and decision-making skills are crucial
  • 7 to 10 years of work experience in a financial field, i.e. Banking, Credit analysis, or credit insurance would be beneficial.
  • Good use of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of the credit insurance product suite preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle a large workload and prioritize work effectively 
  • Strong team player with good people skills
