The Client Solutions Manager [CSM] is responsible for activities that support meeting new business sales targets by strategically prospecting, nurturing relationships, and executing the sales process. This role requires leveraging subject matter experts and providing proactive sales leadership support to client servicing teams to achieve the total new business target. 

The CSM will foster robust collaboration with the existing Workplace Risk team and other Lines of Business (LOBs), facilitating cross-selling and client referral opportunities while ensuring seamless cooperation to meet sales targets.

The Role

  • Client Management 
    • Project management of our national clients’ workplace risk programs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services 
    • Ensure the delivery of high-quality work to meet client needs.
    • Report writing and implementation of client retention strategies
    • Provide our clients strategic advice in policy, premium, claims and injury management 
    • Be an active member of our consultancy team, willingly working on assigned projects and developing team members’ knowledge and skills
    • Manage client satisfaction 
  • New Business Sales
    • Deliver personal new business sales targets through strategic prospecting and relationship nurturing.
    • Supporting the sales process, whilst leveraging subject matter experts as needed.
  • Sales Support for Team Members 
    • Provide proactive sales support to client servicing teams across Workplace Risk, and other Lines of Busienss.
  • Carrier Management Support
    • Provide support to the Solutions team with management of carrier relationships, including active allocation and management of risk management initiatives. 
  • Collaboration and Cross-Selling
    • Foster robust collaboration with target LOBs to facilitate cross-selling and client referral opportunities.
    • Ensure seamless cooperation to achieve sales targets.
  • Sales Planning and Execution
    • Collaborate closely with the CRB sales lead to formulate and execute a comprehensive individual sales plan.
    • Document desired growth targets for key industry segments and/or large accounts.
  • Pipeline Management
    • Ensure 100% compliance on pipeline management reporting through CRM.
    • Guarantee accurate and timely actioning of prospects in alignment with the established procedures.
  • Market Presence and Expertise
    • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance in building market presence.
    • Build and manage the sales pipeline; oversee the coordination of bid strategies and RFPs
  • Market Relationships
    • Develop appropriate relationships in the market.
    • Understand competitor situations and dynamics.
       

Qualifications

The Requirements

 

  • Experience in development of new business 
  • Strong subject matter expertise in relevant industry segments
  • Strong strategic prospecting and relationship-building skills.
  • Expertise in leveraging CRM systems, specifically D365, for pipeline management.
  • Excellent collaboration and cross-selling abilities.
  • Ability to formulate and execute comprehensive sales plans.
  • Exceptional resource management and cost efficiency skills.
  • Extensive experience working for a national employer, service provider, a broker or a senior position within a insurer / agent 
  • Experience in National Workers’ Compensation arrangements with a key understanding of the key drivers to premiums
  • Demonstrable knowledge and application of policy and premium management across the National Workers’ Compensation landscape 
  • Experience in developing and executing a new business strategy
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in supervising, coaching and mentoring team members
  • Proven ability to organise, prioritise, project manage and work well under pressure
  • A team player with the ability to demonstrate credibility and gain trust
  • A tertiary qualification in Allied Health, or equivalent work experience desirable
