Description
WTW is seeking an Investment Product Manager to support the development, launch, and ongoing management of investment products across institutional and wealth management channels.
This role is ideal for an investment product professional with 5-10 years of experience who combines strong product manufacturing capabilities with project management, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. The successful candidate will help bring investment solutions from concept through implementation and commercialization while partnering across investments, operations, legal, compliance, distribution, finance, and external service providers.
The role offers exposure to a broad range of investment vehicles, including Collective Investment Trusts (CITs), mutual funds, ETFs, separately managed accounts, model portfolios, private markets, and alternative investment structures.
Key Responsibilities
Product Manufacturing & Development
- Support the design, structuring, launch, and enhancement of investment products.
- Develop product business cases, financial models, implementation plans, and market assessments.
- Coordinate end-to-end product manufacturing activities across internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Manage product launch workstreams, ensuring successful implementation and commercialization.
- Prepare materials for product governance committees and approval forums.
Project Management & Cross-Functional Execution
- Lead cross-functional product initiatives across investments, legal, compliance, operations, marketing, finance, and distribution.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and risk-management processes.
- Coordinate service providers including fund administrators, trustees, custodians, legal counsel, and data vendors.
- Communicate project status and key decisions to stakeholders and governance bodies.
Product Analytics & Commercial Support
- Monitor product performance, asset growth, profitability, flows, utilization, and adoption trends.
- Develop product dashboards, KPI reporting, and market analyses.
- Support financial modeling, forecasting, and business-case development for product initiatives.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams on product positioning, commercialization, and client-facing materials.
- Provide competitive intelligence and market insights to support product decision-making.
Product Governance
- Support product governance processes and ongoing product reviews.
- Maintain product documentation, approval records, and operating procedures.
- Identify and escalate operational, regulatory, and reputational risks.
- Monitor industry, regulatory, and market developments affecting investment products.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in investment product management, product development, asset management, fund administration, portfolio solutions, investment consulting, or related fields.
- Experience supporting product launches, product restructurings, vehicle conversions, or other product implementation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of investment product lifecycle management, fund structures, and investment operations.
- Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional projects.
Required Skills
- Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Ability to evaluate product economics, profitability, and market opportunities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and data-analysis capabilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with CITs, OCIO solutions, wealth-management platforms, retirement products, or trust-bank structures.
- Experience with alternative investments, private markets, evergreen structures, interval funds, private credit, or multi-asset solutions.
- Familiarity with ERISA, SEC regulations, and Investment Company Act requirements.
Education & Credentials
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- CFA Charterholder (or progress toward the CFA designation) preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
Benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).
Compensation
The salary compensation range being offered for this role is $120,000 to $178,000.
This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
