    Description

    Reporting to the Privacy Governance function, this role will assist in the day-to-day activities, including but not limited to providing advice, oversight, and data protection risk management to WTW businesses and functional groups, to ensure appropriate protection of personal information. 

    • Works with the Privacy Governance function, supporting projects relating to privacy governance and coordination with the Privacy Operation, Privacy Legal, Incident Response, and/or the network of Data Privacy Officers and Data Privacy champions. 
    • Assist in collating, analyzing, challenge, and alignment of privacy practices
    • Support Privacy Governance in researching, developing, drafting, and cascading of privacy guides and resources.   
    • Support the implementation of privacy framework in WTW, as well as the implementation of other frameworks such as responsible AI and its related assessment, etc. 
    • Support in coordinating and liaising with network of Data Privacy Officers on matters relating to privacy practices, as well as attending quarterly Working Group meetings from the various regions. 
    • Supporting projects and initiatives from the Privacy Governance function, as well as from the wider Privacy Team.
    1. Provide support for the Privacy Governance function as well as the wider Privacy Team, including but not limited to supporting projects and initiative relating to privacy governance and coordination with Privacy Operation, Privacy Legal, Incident Response, and/or the network of Data Privacy Officers and Data Privacy champions. 
    2. Provide support in collating, analyzing, challenge, and alignment of privacy practices, researching, developing, drafting, and cascading of privacy guides and resources, and the implementation of relevant framework in WTW, as well as attending and contributing to the various quarterly Working Groups meetings.
    3. Provide assistance with horizon scanning, identifying, and analyzing new global privacy and AI laws and regulations in support of implementation.
    4. Supporting projects and initiatives from the Privacy Team.

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrable track record of:
      • Working with other teams and disciplines towards a common goal
      • A developing knowledge and enthusiasm for Legal and Privacy subject matters
      • Problem solving and maintaining SLAs in a highly available environment.
      • Working to deadlines and maintaining a high degree of organization to your work
      • Highly computer literate
      • Communicating clearly
    • Beneficial qualifications include:
      • LLB or equivalent experience in a privacy field
    • Beneficial but not essential:
      • An understanding of privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA and other U.S. and global privacy laws) as well as wider regulations/ practices in novel topics such as responsible AI. 
      • Prior experience in contract review and advise on legal requirements.
      • Basic IT understanding relating to AI would be beneficial 
      • Privacy certification(s)
