Product Owner

• Become subject matter experts for the domain of the system they are assigned to.
• Maintain the development team’s backlog; prioritize product backlog items (PBIs), defects, and tech work for each sprint.
• Work with product managers to understand the full scope of prioritized features.
• Build out user stories and functional/non-functional requirements to meet feature goals.
• Review scope of PBIs with product managers for relevant feature.
• Collaborate with other product owners to coordinate dependencies across domains.
• Work with design team to ensure deliverables are ready for development.
• Refine tickets with development team in preparation for each sprint.
• Collaborate with project team and other relevant stakeholders on progress of tickets as appropriate.
• Test and demo PBIs to relevant stakeholders (development team, product managers, design team, etc).
• Assist in reproducing/triage of live site incidents (LSIs) and other defects.
• Update knowledge base with relevant information.

• Bachelor’s degree/equivalent in business, computer science, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years working in an agile environment as a business analyst/product owner, product manager, or other relevant experience.
• Ability to quickly understand complex problem statements and determine proper resolution.
• Excellent agile planning and organizing skills.
• Ability to collaborate, negotiate, build productive relationships, and create alignment with both internal and external stakeholders
• Excellent facilitation, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Comfortable with change and uncertainty and a strong ability to work through ambiguity.
• Self-motivated; ability to work with limited supervision.
