We're looking for a QA Specialist - AI and Automation to help shape the future of software testing by combining modern automation practices with Gen AI/AI-enabled testing. You'll be part of HWC AI Light Layer team working alongside talented engineers and product teams to ensure our solutions are reliable, scalable, and deliver exceptional experiences for customers. You'll make a measurable impact by increasing automation, improving testing efficiency, finding issues before they reach production, and helping teams release high-quality software with greater confidence and speed.
The Role
- Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and platform applications.
- Use AI-assisted testing tools to improve test coverage, identify defects, and speed up regression testing.
- Review AI-generated test cases and validate that they are accurate, relevant, and aligned to business requirements.
- Work with developers and product managers to understand features, acceptance criteria, and quality risks.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and user acceptance testing as needed.
- Identify, document, and track defects clearly using test management and issue-tracking tools.
- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines by integrating automated tests into release processes.
- Analyze test results, investigate failed tests, and help improve the reliability of automated test suites.
- Contribute to test strategy, quality standards, and continuous improvement of QA processes.
Qualifications
What you'll bring
- Experience in software QA, test automation, or a similar testing role.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
- Basic knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles, agile delivery, and CI/CD practices.
- Interest in AI-enabled testing, test generation, defect prediction, or intelligent automation.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate defects, risks, and quality issues clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Comfortable learning new tools and adapting to changing technologies.
Preferred
- Experience using test management tools, defect tracking systems, and cloud-based testing platforms.
- Experience testing AI, machine learning, data-driven, or automation-heavy products.
- Familiarity with API testing, performance testing, accessibility testing, or security testing.
- Knowledge of prompt-based testing, model output validation, or testing non-deterministic AI behavior.
