The Opportunity
The Control Analyst contributes to the security and compliance of operations carried out by WTW H&B France. Following a plan defined by the Internal Control and Operations Departments, he/she performs second-level controls on all operational processes: subscriptions, fleet management, premiums/commissions, claims, and complaints. The objective of the position is to verify the proper application of procedures, identify discrepancies, and document the results to ensure control of operational and regulatory risks.
What will you do?
Performing controls
- Perform controls defined in the H&B control plan, according to the frequency and methodology communicated.
- Examine the files, samples, or data extracts provided to verify the compliance and accuracy of the processing carried out by the set up teams.
- Apply the control checklists and analysis criteria in a consistent and documented manner.
- Identify any anomalies, discrepancies, or non-conformities observed, classifying them according to their nature and severity.
- Ensure full traceability of controls.
Documentation
- Populate monitoring and reporting tools (dashboards, databases, control platforms).
- Report major deviations requiring further analysis or corrective action.
Continuous improvement and quality of the process
- Propose adjustments to control grids or operating procedures when inconsistencies or inaccuracies are identified.
- Contribute to improving the reliability of control data (accuracy, consistency, completeness).
Qualifications
What You’ll Bring
We are seeking a highly motivated professional with strong interpersonal skills who is keen to join a large and dynamic organisation.
- Solid knowledge of health insurance contracts within the French market.
- Fluent in French (minimum C1 level, C2 preferred).
- Basic understanding of internal control principles and associated control levels.
- Ability to apply control checklists consistently and with a high degree of rigour.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel, SharePoint and Power BI, as well as monitoring tools.
- Ability to identify, classify and document anomalies in a structured and accurate manner.
- Good understanding of traceability and audit requirements.
- Methodical, rigorous and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Reliable, with strict adherence to procedures and compliance standards.
- Strong teamwork skills, with good organisational ability, adaptability and capacity to work autonomously.
