As the Technology Product Management Leader, you are an integral part of the Individual Marketplace (IM) Leadership Team, operating within SAFe Agile frameworks, owning the PM/PO community of practice, and ensuring delivery processes are consistent, measurable, and continuously improving. The portfolio of products include:

 

  • Individual Healthcare Marketplace enrolment platform(s)

  • Benefits / Spending Accounts (HSA, HRA, LSA, etc.)

  • ICHRA product development

  • Contact center efficiency and excellence enablement

  • Data & analytics strategy, including internal and external reporting capability advancement

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Strategy: Deliver the product vision and strategy aligned with IM’s overall goals and growth strategy, partnering closely with IM leadership.

  • Client & Market Focus: Gather feedback directly through consistent engagements with external stakeholders including clients, WTW vertical business leaders, industry analysts, partners, and industry bodies. Stay abreast of customer, industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments related to the IM business.

  • Product Innovation: Build and mature the PM/PO team capability, including onboarding standards, backlog hygiene, PI planning facilitation, and cross-team dependency management.

  • Product Roadmap: Shape the product roadmap for various IM products, leveraging gathered insights to help our product and development teams prioritize features.

  • Product Execution: Co-own the execution of the technology roadmap under the IM Technology leader ensuring solutions are delivered on: specification, time, and budget.

  • Digital Decision Authority: Serve as the overarching Product Management process and digital solutions prioritization authority, and collaborate with a diverse team across the Business, Product, Technology, Operations and Client Management

  • Smart Connections: Work across IM and HWC business leaders to identify smart connections, shape solutions and execute on smart connection priorities

  • Artificial Intelligence: Be a thought leader on AI, scanning where we play with AI and how we can accelerate integrating AI into our IM portfolio

  • SAFe Agile Leadership: Own PI Planning cadence, coach Product Owners across teams, ensure alignment between program backlogs and organizational priorities. Maintain a healthy ART

  • PM Practice Standards: Establish and govern consistent PM standards, including backlog structure, definition of ready/done, prioritization frameworks, and velocity tracking.

 

Key Accountabilities & Metrics:

  • Shared leadership and accountability for the IM Business plan and HWC vertical priorities to embed IM products
  • Delivery on a multi-year product roadmap through metrics driven management
  • Shared leadership and accountability for product growth and profitability
  • Return on investment of our products including shared leadership and accountability with IM Business Operations for total cost of product ownership

Qualifications

The Requirements

  • 15+ years of business experience, including demonstrated team leadership
  • Experience with building and delivering product platforms and product launches
  • Experience in the US healthcare benefits outsourcing or large-scale individual insurance brokerage industries
  • Recent experience driving AI deployment into product development
  • Exceptional business relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize data, develop insights, and make recommendations
  • Ability to manage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across WTW 
  • Keen business acumen and proven ability to align clients’ and participants’ needs to our business’s delivery capability
  • Self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced evolving business environment
  • An executive presence with polished and well developed written and oral communication skills
  • Availability to travel on an as needed basis
  • Experience working with corporate functions such as Finance, Enterprise Risk Management, Technology, Legal, IT and Compliance
  • Familiarity with ADO or equivalent work management tooling at enterprise scale

  • Experience leading or scaling a PM/PO team of across multiple delivery teams

Compensation and Benefits 

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

 

Compensation 

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $190,000.00-$250,000.00 USD annually.

This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
