The Continental European (CE) sales team has a clear mandate to develop our existing strengths and expand our current relationships in our core pension markets whilst tapping new markets across the wealth and insurance investor base. The team works strategically as part of a Global Business Line centered around key locations across the region to leverage existing relationships while providing the flexibility to target the entire region. As a CE sales associate you are part of a team of 9 sale investment professionals with locations in Frankfurt, Madrid, and Amsterdam supporting the wider CE Investments Team of 55+ client facing investment professionals. You are responsible for working together with key stakeholders in Continental Europe and our Headquarters in the UK to grow our existing book of business as well venture into new markets.
Job description
- Contribute to new business development by raising the market’s awareness of our investment fund solutions and services;
- Identify cross selling opportunities across the entire WTW portfolio of services such as the insurance consulting and technology business and actuarial services;
- Develop trusted client relationships by ensuring high quality consulting advice and services;
- Build strong internal relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues in Continental Europe and the wider WTW network;
- Support the senior Growth Leaders on their strategic initiatives.
What we are looking for
- You are a self-starter, open to learning, can perform under pressure, likes a challenge, a strong team player, self-reflective and eager to perform;
- You are committed to a full-time position and are open to travelling once a quarter;
- You have at least 3 years of proven experience in the financial industry, with preference within an asset management organization in a similar kind of role;
- You possess the relevant academic degree with at least a bachelor’s degree in economics, business, or finance, or any field coupled with the Chartered Financial Analyst;
- You are fluent in English and depending on where you will be located fluent in the respective language i.e. Spanish or Dutch;
- You are highly skilled in using Microsoft Office.
