A day with Chris Duggan 

For Chris, a Strategic Seller, the day begins early: “By 6:30, I’m up and preparing for the day ahead. After dropping my kids at school, I catch the train, listen to a podcast and check my emails, setting the tone for what’s to come.” 

Arriving at the office, Chris joins his team for a catch-up call, reviewing upcoming RFPs and aligning on priorities

“The morning is all about prospect outreach: reviewing news, industry updates and trigger events. I’m always looking for meaningful opportunities to connect.” 

 

Lunch offers a brief pause, a chance to step outside and reset. The afternoon brings insight meetings with prospective clients, collaborative discovery sessions with colleagues and strategic input on tender responses. 

“By late afternoon, I’m heading home, replying to emails and returning calls. Evenings are for family: cooking dinner, helping with homework and unwinding with padel. When I go to bed, I’m ready to do it all again tomorrow.” 

Chris reflects on the pace and challenge: “Balancing prospecting, client meetings and bid management means every day is different. The challenge is staying ahead, being proactive, not just reactive. But that’s what makes the role so engaging.”
