The Role
The role is for a Flexible Benefits Consultant in Benefits Technology and Operations team under Health & Benefits practice in Hong Kong. You will be an integral part of the team to drive the execution on vision and strategy for Technology and Operations, supporting the expansion of Health and Benefits services in Hong Kong.
Performance Objectives:
Excellence
• Act as local Benefits Technology Champion
• Lead the flex consulting tasks of flexible benefits and/or flexible spending account, including but not limited to plan design advisory, cost projection, feasibility studies, price tags and points allocation review and recommendations
• Lead client presentation on flexible benefits related agenda items
• Day to day co-ordination for flexible benefits operations with account management team and flex administration team in Shenzhen
• Client demo of systems
• Conduct UAT tests during system change or implementation
• Accountable for smooth implementation and perform implementation tasks such as reviewing of BRS, web content and PQC forms
• Support member communications including demos and virtual/onsite client helpdesk during open enrolment window
• Coordinate internally to ensure required documentations are uploaded in client portal
• Produce member communication materials for flexible benefits programs
• Produce reports and analysis as agreed with clients
Clients
• Communicate effectively with clients and other H&B teams.
• Attend client or prospect meetings as appropriate and present knowledgeable and professional image of Willis Towers Watson.
• Ensure that clients’ business expectations are aligned with commitment at all times
Financial
• Support Business Development team or account management team on pitching on new flexible benefits clients (including FSA only)
• Input and advise on pricing and potential implementation timeline
People
• Work effectively within the team dynamic.
Qualifications
The Requirements
• 3+ years in flexible benefits consulting or flexible benefits operational roles.
• 5+ years in employee benefits related field.
• Good understanding on flexible benefits program and flexible spending account programs
• Good understanding on insurance placement and terms and conditions
• Good understanding on benefits technology
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English. Proficiency in Chinese (both Cantonese, Mandarin) is preferred.
• Exceptional attention to details
• Demonstrate strong logical sense
• Demonstrate strong MS excel skills
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
• Diligence in identifying, following up and resolving issues
