About the team
FINMAR Market Services (FMS) was established to support the rationalization of FINEX Global Carriers for the benefit of WTW clients. FMS provides services such as data analytics, carrier advocacy, pipeline management, and reporting to the carriers. It is highly aligned with group objectives, involving revenue growth, market rationalization, automated market selection (market match), and improved knowledge to support better client prospecting and service. It is a modernized broking methodology that uses analytics to measure and continuously improve the performance of insurers for the benefit of our clients.
The Portfolio Management Team is responsible for the overall health and performance of our panels, including insurer onboarding, panel governance, financial management, legal oversight and strategic development. Supporting this activity is the Portfolio Operations function, which provides consistent, efficient and high-quality operational delivery across all FINMAR panels globally.
About the role
The Portfolio Operations Analyst will support the day-to-day administration and operational management of the FINMAR panels. Working closely with Portfolio Managers and senior stakeholders in Ipswich and globally, the role will help ensure that legal, financial and governance activities are delivered accurately, consistently and on time. Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
• Support contract administration activities across insurer panels, including onboarding, renewals, endorsements, contract tracking and maintenance of contract records
• Support accrual processing, revenue forecasting and financial reporting activities, maintaining data accuracy and escalating variances where appropriate
• Support the administration of insurer Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, including timeline management, documentation control, stakeholder coordination and record keeping
• Assist with the preparation and administration of insurer panel reviews, ensuring supporting information is accurate and available on a timely basis
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance and other support teams to facilitate efficient execution of portfolio activities
• As required, support invoicing, payment tracking and reconciliation activities, working closely with finance teams and other operational stakeholders
• Produce regular reports and data analysis to support portfolio management decision-making
• Assist Portfolio Managers with ad hoc requests, projects and operational initiatives as required
• Contribute to process improvement activity, helping drive standardisation, efficiency and consistency across global panels
• Work under a fast-changing environment, with the ability to switch priorities, yet produce high quality and accurate output
• Ensure ongoing, sustainable & dynamic relationships with stakeholders (internal /external) whilst managing their expectations
• Adherence & manage assigned team fundamental activities in accordance with compliance requirements
Qualifications
• Graduate or Postgraduate degree in any discipline
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial services, insurance, operations, administration, or a related environment
• Experience working in global or cross-functional teams is advantageous
Knowledge:
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Understanding of data analysis, reporting, and interpretation
• Power BI knowledge is desirable
Skills:
• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in working with data, spreadsheets, and reporting
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work
