The Role
As a Technical Consultant, you will take a leading role in our client-facing pre-sales, implementation and integration of advanced insurance software.
In this role, you will be part of a global Technology Consulting team and will focus primarily on the APAC market. As a recognized Technology expert, you will make an impact by providing input into the strategic direction of our product portfolio, have opportunities to continuously improve how we work and develop our products, and work closely with R&D and delivery colleagues from across the globe

Joining our Technology Consulting team will open various paths for your career. Technical Consultants are involved across the full lifecycle—from internal and external presales engagements through to successful software product delivery—developing deep expertise and leadership skills in both technical and business domains.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Executing client projects under the supervision of a Senior Technical Consultant
- After-sales technical support to Asia-Pacific clients
- Conducting on-site and remote installations, configuration and support of enterprise software
- Recommending appropriate custom solutions where required.
- Pre-sales support to consultants and the sales teams including managing RFP/RFI responses
- Become a knowledgeable expert on our products and associated technologies
- Developing relationships with support and development teams
Qualifications
The Requirements
- More than 5 years' experience in a hands-on technical role with direct client engagement and stakeholder interaction.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to understand, explain and implement complex IT solutions
- Ability to adapt where limited information about a client or their technology stack is known
- Experience in managing client relationships
- Experience working in an international environment (global teamwork)
- Educated to degree level or significant industry experience
- Fluent in English and business capable in Mandarin (spoken/written preferred)
- Ability to work in Singapore and travel to other countries in region
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to learn and independently seek knowledge
- Good understanding of the technologies underpinning our solutions, including IIS, Microsoft SQL Server, Active Directory, Windows Server, SOAP/REST Web Services, COM, .NET, and WCF, together with server and networking fundamentals, public cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and emerging AI technologies. Experience in solution architecture, implementation, system integration, and cloud-based deployments is highly desirable.
- Ability to produce and review technical documentation
- Ability to manage multiple client issues including support tickets and projects
Technical Requirements - Good to Have
- Experience in deploying software in cloud (Azure/AWS), on-premise, and hybrid environments
- Significant experience, or accreditations in Cloud computing platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Experience with a scripting language (PowerShell, Batch, VBA and/or Perl).
- Network performance analysis
- Development experience (.Net, C++, C#, Java)
- Experience with Linux, Kubernetes, OpenShift and/or AKS
- Core Microsoft, Azure, Citrix, Cisco, VMWare or other key IT certifications.
- Experience bridging the communication gap & requirements between business users and technology teams.
- Experience in contracting professional services with large & complex organizations
- Experience in developing code or scripts, preferably in an enterprise environment
- Experience with systems integration and data transformation
