WTW | Willis is seeking a full-time Account Executive to join our Corporate Broking team in Christchurch.
In this role, you will support the Client Director / Account Manager across all aspects of client service, helping to maintain and grow an established portfolio of corporate clients. You will play an integral role in delivering a high standard of service and contributing to positive client outcomes.
The successful candidate will be a diligent, collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills, excellent organisation, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

Key responsibilities include:
- In conjunction with the Client Director / Account Manager, administer clients’ risk management and insurance broking programmes to ensure the delivery of high-quality services, with a strong focus on client retention and business development
- Prepare client and insurer documentation, ensuring a high level of accuracy and quality prior to distribution
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with insurers, clients, and key internal and external stakeholders, representing WTW | Willis in a professional manner at all times
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate client data across WTW | Willis systems, facilities, and databases
- Review and compare renewal terms against prior-year arrangements and highlight and advise on material changes to the Client Director / Account Manager
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the business to support the growth and success of WTW | Willis
- Work closely with the offshore Operations Support team to ensure the timely and accurate preparation and delivery of documentation
- Support the Client Director / Account Manager in claims management, including responding to client enquiries, providing guidance on claims processes, liaising with loss adjusters and other assessors, and ensuring agreed service standards and timely settlement outcomes
- Ensure all documentation and activities comply with company service standards, compliance requirements, and regulatory obligations
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Strong administrative and client support capabilities within a fast-paced insurance broking environment
- NZ Level 5 Insurance Qualification (or equivalent), or a commitment to achieving this qualification within an agreed timeframe (course fees paid by Willis – conditions apply)
- Previous experience in insurance broking is highly regarded; candidates from broader financial services backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally on a one-to-one basis and within small groups
- Well-developed report writing and business correspondence skills
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks and manage a varied and demanding workload
- A collaborative team player who demonstrates integrity, credibility, and trustworthiness
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Competent in the use of internet and intranet-based systems and applications
- Demonstrated willingness to learn, develop new skills, and take on additional responsibilities as required
