BI Engineer/Architect

Overview

Design and create robust, scalable BI solutions like Power BI reports and dashboards. Key responsibilities include transforming business requirements into technical data solutions.

Detailed Responsibilities

• BI Platform Architecture: Design and architect scalable Business Intelligence platforms, including data models, reporting layers, and data flow within tools like Power BI. 

• Power BI Solution Development: Oversee the development of Power BI reports, dashboards, and analytics, ensuring they are scalable, performant, and adhere to standards. 

• Data Integration & Modelling: Integrate diverse data sources, build and maintain data dictionaries and entity-relationship models, and ensure data traceability. 

• Security & Access Control: Implement and manage data security measures, including role-based and row-level security within Power BI environments. 

Requirements

Deep understanding of data architecture principles, data modelling, data warehousing, and BI tools such as Power BI. 

Advanced analytical abilities to interpret complex data and troubleshoot data-related issues effectively. 

Ability to align data architecture with enterprise-wide strategic goals and the organization's data direction. 

Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with business leaders, architects, and engineers, translating complex concepts clearly. 

Expertise in implementing security features, data protection, risk management, and adherence to data governance policies. 

Fluent English speaker.
