Description

What you will do:

  • Grow the FAC portfolio: Deliver revenue, support budget targets and help expand our facultative business across Asia.

  • Connect across markets: Represent Asia in global FAC forums and build strong links with colleagues across regions.

  • Work broadly across key Fac markets including North and South Asia: building relationships and opportunity through partnership

  • Shape regional strategy: Support FAC business planning and help develop team capability across products, markets and geographies.

  • Build the network: Strengthen relationships with FAC representatives, placement colleagues, clients, insurers and reinsurers across Asia.

  • Manage the pipeline: Develop first-party and third-party FAC opportunities, working closely with regional LOB heads and placement leaders.

  • Be a trusted partner: Build our reputation as the preferred FAC partner for Singapore-based regional insurers and reinsurers.

Financial KPIs

  • Deliver commercial results: Achieve regional FAC budget targets and contribute to profitable growth.

  • Collaborate for impact: Work with business leads, client relationship directors and broking leaders to turn opportunities into measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree or equivalent experience; MBA or professional insurance qualification such as ACII is advantageous.

  • Strong technical understanding of Property, Construction, Natural Resources or Casualty risks.

  • Experience in North Asia markets, with knowledge of insurance buyers, cedants, reinsurers and placement channels.

  • Track record placing business into domestic and international markets, supported by a strong reinsurer network.

  • Mandarin, Korean or Japanese language skills are helpful but not essential.

  • Confident communicator and negotiator, with the ability to influence clients, markets and internal stakeholders.

  • Commercially sharp, with strong problem-solving, planning, budgeting and financial awareness.
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity, building consensus and making progress in a matrix environment.
  • Collaborative and credible in market, able to represent the company with professionalism and confidence.
  • People-focused leader who can coach, develop and motivate others.
