Business Analyst and Scrum Master

Summary of Role :

We are seeking a dynamic professional with proven experience as a Business Analyst and Scrum Master, specifically in Agentic AI (Artificial Intelligence), Generative AI (Artificial Intelligence), and Machine Learning projects. The ideal candidate will drive requirements gathering, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and ensure team collaboration and delivery excellence in cutting-edge AI (Artificial Intelligence) initiatives. This dual role demands strong leadership, analytical thinking, and hands-on expertise in Agentic systems, supporting cross-functional teams to deliver innovative AI (Artificial Intelligence) solutions.

 The Role:

• Business Analyst Responsibilities
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements for Agentic AI (Artificial Intelligence), Gen (Generative) AI (Artificial Intelligence), and ML(Machine Learning) projects.
  • Translate complex AI (Artificial Intelligence) business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and advanced AI/ML (Artificial Learning / Machine Learning) technical solutions.
  • Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements for AI (Artificial Intelligence)-driven workflows.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, AI (Artificial Intelligence)engineers, and development teams to define and refine project scope.
  • Support testing efforts by validating requirements and assisting with UAT (User Acceptance Testing), especially for AI/ML (Artificial Learning / Machine Learning) models and agentic systems.
  • Ensure compliance with SOC1 (System and Organization Controls)/SOC2 (System and Organization Controls), data privacy, and internal security standards.
• Scrum Master Responsibilities
  • Act as a servant leader and facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, Retrospectives, etc.) for AI (Artificial Intelligence)-focused teams.
  • Guide teams on Agile best practices and remove impediments, with a focus on AI/ML (Artificial Learning / Machine Learning) project delivery.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure adherence to Agile principles in AI (Artificial Intelligence) development.
  • Enable communication and collaboration between business, technical, and AI  (Artificial Intelligence)research teams.
  • Track sprint progress and report key metrics to stakeholders, including AI (Artificial Intelligence)model performance and delivery milestones.
  • Encourage team accountability and ensure timely delivery of sprint objectives in Agentic and Gen AI (Artificial Intelligence) projects.

 The Requirement:

• 10–11 years of experience in Business Analysis and Agile Scrum Management, with at least 2–3 years in Agentic AI (Artificial Intelligence), Gen AI (Artificial Intelligence), or ML (Machine Learning) projects.
• Strong understanding of Agentic AI (Artificial Intelligence) concepts, Generative AI (Artificial Intelligence), and Machine Learning lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience in delivering projects involving agentic systems, autonomous agents, or generative models.
• Proficiency in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), especially in AI/ML (Artificial Learning / Machine Learning) environments.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps or similar Agile tools.
• Experience in stakeholder management and working with cross-functional teams, including AI/ML  (Artificial Learning / Machine Learning)specialists.
• Ability to define requirements, create user stories, and manage backlogs for AI/ML (Artificial Learning / Machine Learning) projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM (Certified ScrumMaster)/PSM (Professional Scrum Master)) and/or Certified Business Analyst (CBAP) preferred.
• Experience with regulatory and ethical considerations in AI (Artificial Intelligence) projects is a plus.
