As part of the UK team, you will collaborate closely with Health & Benefits colleagues to commercialise and deliver innovative wellbeing and DE&I solutions that truly make an impact.
In this role, you’ll stay at the forefront of market trends—building a strong understanding of insurer capabilities, identifying gaps, and responding to emerging challenges. Alongside delivering high-impact projects, you’ll also manage a portfolio of GB or global coordination relationships, contributing to the ongoing evolution of our consulting propositions.
Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, you’ll play a key role in driving innovation, developing new consulting solutions, and building a strong pipeline of business opportunities. You’ll have the opportunity to deepen client relationships by expanding conversations across broader Health & Benefits offerings, including broking, benchmarking, data analytics, absence management, and occupational health.
You’ll also collaborate with vendor partners, in-house clinical experts, and our marketing team to create compelling thought leadership, helping position WTW as a leader in the wellbeing and DE&I space.
The Role
• Form part of the WTW Health & Benefits GB Wellbeing team, with broader interaction with any other teams operating in this space (GB Health & Benefits, Integrated Global Solutions, Health Equity and Wellbeing Colleagues in Europe and ROW).
• Lead on a small number of GB or global coordination health and benefits acccounts.
• Attending new business meetings (in person and virtual) with existing and prospect WTW clients to develop and convert a Wellbeing project work pipeline.
• Participating in the promotion and communication of our Wellbeing Consulting capabilities to the wider business through workshops and presentations within CRB and HWC.
• Creation and delivery of regular training, updates, development plans and presentations to the Health & Benefits GB practice (across Large Corporate and Mid- Market) of wellbeing trends, employer challenges and market insights in this space.
• Working with internal and external marketing agencies/teams to continue to refine and innovate the proposition to meet ongoing client needs.
• Developing case studies and thought leadership pieces, including guides and value statements to help promote the benefits of the services.
• Collaborating with the wider Health & Benefits teams to search out new client opportunities based on current challenges and feedback.
• Reporting and updating the Sales Lead/Team on progress with the proposition and any campaigns to drive revenue growth for Wellbeing.
• Having good visibility and profile within the external marketplace to understand key trends, themes, insights and understand the current challenges from employers and businesses in this area.
• Being a spokesperson for Health & Benefits on Wellbeing related topics.
• Being active on social media with regards to the relevance and importance of Wellbeing related issues and topics.
• Attendance at executive meetings with carriers and wider events such as seminars, round tables, workshops and forums to discuss market growth, client challenges and topical issues for future market developments.
• Presentation of data, views, insights, research and survey material to key partner groups to display the intellectual capital from WTW.
• Review of the market for any potential additions, enhancements or acquisitions that could be made to the proposition in this area to further innovate the WTW solution.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring
• Degree or degree level qualification preferred.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of risk, healthcare and wellbeing.
• Good profile and visibility within the employee benefits market, with insurers, industry bodies and third-party suppliers.
• Preference for additional expertise in the area of wellbeing, DE&I, private medical, income protection, claims management, occupational health, intervention services, as well as intermediary background and knowledge.
• Confidence and ability to negotiate new Contracts/Agreements on behalf of Health & Benefits.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint).
• Good analytical and numerical reasoning skills.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills, both written and verbal and able to articulately adapt style for various purposes and audiences.
• Willingness to deliver training sessions and presentations to a variety of stakeholders at varying levels, both internally and externally.
• Good planning, time management and organisation skills with the ability to work to deadlines.
• Able to work well under pressure and meet targets.
• Able to work quickly, but accurately in a professional environment.
• Able to learn quickly, use own initiative and organise own workload effectively.
• Prepared to put in the extra effort when needed to meet challenging deadlines.
• Demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude, overcoming any problems as they arise.
• Prepared to show initiative where appropriate, but equally prepared to take instructions from others where appropriate in order to contribute to projects across the whole department.
