About the team
WTW IIB (Willis Towers Watson India Insurance Brokers) is the insurance broking arm of WTW in India. It specialises in providing organisations with risk management, insurance advisory, and broking services, helping clients identify risks, design coverage solutions, and manage claims effectively.
Summary
The Senior Manager – Finance role is responsible for overseeing reinsurance and remittance processes, ensuring accurate revenue recognition, and effectively managing receivables and reconciliations. The position involves preparing and reviewing MIS reports, supporting audits through close coordination with internal and external auditors, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements such as GST, TDS, and tax regulations. Additionally, the role contributes to financial planning, risk management, and process improvements while strengthening internal controls to enhance overall efficiency and transparency.
Role
- Supervision of reinsurance and remittance processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
- Revenue recognition in line with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Monitoring and managing reinsurance accounts receivables to ensure timely collections and reconciliations.
- Preparation and review of MIS reports for management decision-making.
- Liaising with internal auditors, statutory auditors, and other external auditors for smooth conduct of audits, inspections, and reviews of audited and unaudited financials.
- Reviewing and ensuring compliance with statutory payments including GST, TDS, and advance tax.
- Supporting management in financial planning, risk assessment, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Driving process improvements and strengthening internal controls to enhance efficiency and transparency.
Requirements
- 4-5 years working experience in insurance broking - reinsurance or insurance companies
- Software knowledge - Tally, MS Excel, Oracle
- Good writing & communication skills in English & Hindi
Qualifications
B.Com/M.Com. and CA completed
