You will have immediate exposure to client assignments in client facing roles which will draw on your imagination and creativity as well as your ability to analyze data, draw conclusions and present results. These experiences will help build your technical knowledge and overall industry expertise while you benefit from more structured training that is tailored to our business.
The Role
You will work closely with leading consultants, developing cutting edge technical knowledge and skills, as well as project and client management capabilities.
Our projects range in scope from rewards (e.g., compensation benchmarking, base pay program, job leveling/job architecture, annual and long-term incentive program design, pay equity studies, pay-for-performance analyses) to career and talent management (e.g., competency and skills, performance management, organization and function design) to broad cross-group engagements such as support for M&A transactions, total rewards strategy and optimization.
While daily work and assignments will vary, some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with consultants and clients to design work and rewards programs to attract, reward and retain talent
- Collaborating with our Data & Analytics team to provide clients with market pay benchmarking and strategic insights
- Helping our clients ensure that their rewards programs are competitive by performing analyses of program design and other rewards practices utilizing the range of WTW data, tools and processes
- Modeling pay structures and conducting financial impact analyses of alternative designs
- Developing, analyzing, and calibrating executive and broad-based incentive plan designs that help support companies’ business strategies
- Drafting reports and exhibits presenting the team’s analytical work to client audiences
- Performing industry and financial research
- Participating in client meetings and working sessions
- Contributing to sales and marketing efforts by assisting with proposals and other client-specific business development efforts
- Broadening your understanding of our client solutions and the digital platforms and AI applications that are reshaping our industry and enabling your work
- Actively building a sales mindset through a focus on cultivating internal and client relationships, understanding our W&R value proposition, identifying opportunities, and contributing to business development through collaboration and continuous learning
Qualifications
Role Requirements
- Progress towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a business-oriented field or any other major with significant quantitative course work, and minimum overall GPA of 3.0
- Work experience that demonstrates strong analytical and client service skills (e.g., internships/part-time jobs involving quantitative and qualitative data analysis)
- Interest in our business (Careers and Compensation) as demonstrated through work experience, coursework, and/or research assignments
- Passion for solving problems and sharing solutions to exceed the standards of the client
- Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, but also cooperatively in a close team environment
- Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills, including analyzing data and interpreting, summarizing and presenting findings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
- Familiar, at a basic level, with using GenAI platforms to boost productivity and quality of tasks
- This is a hybrid position that requires you to be local and able to commute to the office to which you applied
- Able to work legally in the United States indefinitely and without Visa sponsorship

Compensation and Benefits: Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).
Compensation: The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $75,000 - $80,000 USD. This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
