Description
Are you ready to play a key role in managing insurance portfolios for our leading Corporate and Global clients? As a Motor Practice Leader, you will independently handle new requests and ongoing insurance policies for our clients with larger and more complex risks.
The role
- You analyse and evaluate potential risks with our client or prospect together with the account manager. You identify where Risk and Analytics tools can be involved to ensure an analytical approach to the client's risks;
- Build and maintain technical, procedural and client knowledge through experience and be a point of reference on technical issues and project related queries;
- You create a detailed submission file for the insurers. You present a clear and convincing risk profile to the market;
- In close consultation with the clients or prospects, you design the insurance program and make sure clients are adequately covered;
- You negotiate with both national and international insurers to make sure the coverage remain up to date;
- You keep clients informed of the progress and ensure the establishment of the insurance agreement.
Qualifications
The requirements
- You have a relevant education at a Bachelor/academic level;
- You preferably have 5 years of experience in a client-facing and/or broking role within the insurance industry, specifically in the Belgian market;
- You possess excellent negotiation skills, enabling you to negotiate convincingly and result-oriented to achieve positive outcomes;
- A client-driven and solution-minded team player with strong communication and commercial skills;
- You are service-oriented, flexible, and proactive;
- You have an excellent command of Dutch, French and English for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.

The business
The Corporate Risk and Broking (CRB) division focuses on the development and delivery of professional insurance, risk management, and consultancy services for businesses, institutions, and (semi-)government organizations. In Belgium, approximately 85 employees work in the CRB division, spread across offices in Zaventem, Liège, and Hasselt.
