Fantastic opportunity to join our Employee Experience (EX) team, where you’ll work on the moments that matter most to employees. As an As a change & organisational transformation consultant, you’ll work alongside senior colleagues to help clients communicate clearly, engage their people and navigate change effectively across a range of people-related topics.

The work is varied and impactful. You could support projects that help employees understand their pay and how it is determined, navigate their career and develop the skills needed to achieve their goals, adapt to organisational changes such as AI-driven workforce transformation, or better understand the full value proposition their organisation offers.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with change management experience, ideally within an HR context, alongside strong project management skills, a creative and curious mindset, and an openness to using AI responsibly.

The role is ideal for someone building their consulting career who enjoys being close to the detail. You’ll play a hands-on role in shaping content, coordinating actions, ensuring quality, managing timelines and turning complex information into clear, engaging materials for employees and clients.

You’ll thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced and high-performing consulting environment that values accountability, initiative and a willingness to learn and contribute from day one.

This role follows our hybrid working model, with an expectation of working a minimum of 2–3 days per week from our London office.

For the right person, this role offers excellent exposure to senior consultants, client projects and a broad range of Employee Experience topics, providing the opportunity to build your consulting expertise, confidence and career over time.
 

The Role

  • Support senior colleagues in the development and delivery of communication and change management strategies that help organisations:
    • Increase transparency on pay;
    • Manage major organisational/HR-related change programmes, such as total rewards harmonisation following a merger;
    •  Raise appreciation and understanding of flexible benefits and incentives;
    • Support broader work and reward agendas, including careers, skills adoption and other programmes that help employees understand and engage with the full employee experience.
    • Understand and remove barriers to AI adoption; and implement new technologies which support any of the above priorities.
  • Be curious and willing to learn, with the confidence to ask thoughtful questions, work through ambiguity and take responsibility for the detail while developing broader consulting judgement.
  • Use generative AI tools as well as insights from research and stakeholder input to develop, test and optimise communication strategies and materials.
  • Apply critical thinking, subject matter/audience insight and editorial judgement to ensure outputs are accurate, engaging, inclusive and aligned with project objectives.
  • Take on day-to-day project coordination responsibilities in a fast-paced consulting environment, working with internal colleagues, external partners and client contacts to keep activity on track, manage timelines, follow through on your work and ensure materials are delivered accurately, efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Play an important role in our consulting delivery model by taking ownership of defined workstreams, helping projects run efficiently, anticipating next steps and enabling senior colleagues to focus on strategic advice and client relationships.
  • Support client meetings and presentations by helping prepare materials, contributing to discussions and presenting selected content with confidence.
  • Contribute ideas, tools and content that strengthen our employee experience offering and support innovation across the team.
  • Actively build subject matter knowledge across employee experience topics, including reward, benefits, careers, skills, employee listening, change and AI adoption, using that knowledge to improve the relevance and quality of client work, with opportunities to develop expertise across different industries.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in communications, employee engagement, change management, HR, reward, benefits, consulting, agency work or another relevant client-facing environment.
  • Typically suited to someone with relevant experience, although we are open to different routes into the role.
  • Evidence that you have taken time to understand WTW, Employee Experience and the type of consulting work we do, and can explain why this role is the right next step for you.
  • Comfortable working across multiple clients, deadlines and topics at once, adapting quickly while keeping a clear focus on quality, commerciality and client priorities.
  • Able to communicate your thinking clearly and with structure, using examples, evidence and sound judgement to explain your approach
  • The necessary skills (both traditional and emerging) to turn complex or technical information into clear, accurate and engaging content.
  • Ability to use, or willingness to learn to use, generative AI tools responsibly to support communication development, while applying human judgement to check accuracy, tone and relevance.
  • Interest in people-related topics such as reward, benefits, careers, skills, culture, change and the employee experience.
  • Awareness of current communication and change trends, including digital channels, social media and emerging technologies such as AI.
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work at pace, take accountability for your output and deliver high-quality work with appropriate guidance.
  • Curious, proactive, reliable and comfortable working through ambiguity, with the judgement to know when to progress independently, when to ask for input and when to escalate.
  • Experience working collaboratively in teams and drawing on the support and expertise of colleagues across different disciplines.
  • Ability to analyse, organise and interpret information and use it to support clear recommendations and effective communication.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Availability to travel on an as-needed basis.
