About Team
The Finance Business Analyst team supports core financial planning, reporting, and process improvement across WTW. The Manager – Business Analyst (Finance) leads financial analysis, drives process optimization, and ensures that finance solutions effectively support business objectives and operational efficiency.
Role Overview
The Manager of Business Analysts leads a team responsible for business analysis, reporting, and corporate application support (including OAC (Oracle Analytics Cloud ), Hyperion, Power BI, Qlik Sense, and bespoke systems). This role ensures the team delivers high-quality business intelligence solutions, supports Management Information Reporting Systems (MIRS), and partners with stakeholders across Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and other functions. The manager drives team performance, fosters professional growth, and ensures alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Set clear objectives, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Identify training needs and facilitate professional development opportunities.
Strategic Oversight
- Oversee the analysis and documentation of business requirements for reporting and corporate applications.
- Ensure the production of reporting and software functional designs meets organizational standards.
- Guide the team in change management processes, ensuring proper approvals and adherence to testing and migration protocols.
Project & Operational Management
- Allocate resources and prioritize team tasks to meet project and organizational deadlines.
- Monitor progress, provide regular updates to senior management, and ensure timely delivery of key initiatives.
- Oversee the creation and execution of test plans, user acceptance testing, and deployment of deliverables.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and other departments.
- Facilitate effective communication between the Business Analyst team and business partners.
- Ensure stakeholder requirements are accurately captured and addressed.
Quality Assurance & Support
- Ensure high standards in support ticket handling and documentation to reduce support volumes.
- Oversee data reconciliation activities and ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Promote best practices in business and systems analysis, data visualization, and technical proficiency.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience managing business analysts or similar technical teams.
- Strong background in Professional Services and/or Insurance industries, with deep understanding of reporting requirements.
- Expertise in business intelligence solutions, systems development, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Qlik Sense, Oracle OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition), OAC (Oracle Analytics Cloud) , OTBI (Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence), FAW (Fusion Analytics Warehouse).
- Advanced organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and project a professional image.
- Working knowledge of reporting of Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, and ideally Human Resources and/or Marketing operations data. Specifically, Profit and Loss, General Ledger, Project Accounting, Time Reporting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Expense management.
- Technical proficiency in SQL (Structured Query language), PL/SQL (Procedural Language/Structured Query Language), and experience with chatbot solutions and automated test scripts is a plus
- Experience with advanced analytics (AI (Artificial Intelligence), Predictive, Data Mining, Sentiment Analysis, Cluster Analysis) is highly desirable.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent degree in Commerce/Business.
