The Role
We are currently looking for an Investment Operations Analyst for our Delegated Investment Solutions Operations team in the Manila Office.
The team is part of the wider Global Investment Operations group, of 160 colleagues, whose core focus is on supporting and servicing the needs of our Investments business and clients. Working with a large, experienced team will allow you to learn about many aspects of the Investment industry whilst building your knowledge of the third-party service providers that we work with.
The focus of the role is to perform investment operations functions for predominantly pension fund clients while working closely with operations colleagues, custodians, and investment managers to ensure the investment operation functions are completed accurately and on a timely basis. This role requires a team-player who is numbers and detail oriented with good knowledge of investment management or custodian back-office operations. The Investment Operations world is wide ranging and includes some exciting challenges.
The role will entail the following:
- Working knowledge of investment management/custodian back-office operations including
- Dealing with custodians/investment managers/administrators
- Trade Matching
- Unit/Position reconciliations to manager statements
- Daily cash reconciliations
- Work as part of dedicated operations team providing a variety of services to designated clients
- Increase efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes.
- People Management
- Monitor the performance of direct reports, provide feedback on
- Complete the performance evaluation of each group member as required under the HR/Talent and Reward system
- Encourage colleagues’ engagement and participation in company and team activities and initiatives
- Contribute to the development of subject matter expertise within the group
Monitor adherence to office policies and regulations and address non-compliance as appropriate

Project Management
Ensure timely delivery of reports and other deliverables that meet stakeholder expectations at a minimum
Perform review of reports, ensuring that output and processes adhere to WTW’s excellence standards and procedures
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, manage expectations proactively and anticipate and address issues in a timely and effective manner
Ensure processes are documented correctly and completely at all times
Critical to your success will be having strong communications skills, a broad understanding of the wider business, fostering and developing relationships with key stakeholders, open communication and a passion to deliver.
Performance Objectives
Clients – work with team and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and meets quality standards
Financial/Business KPIs – maintain accurate time records
People – build relationships internally and collaborate effectively with team
Operational Excellence and Innovation – implement Operational Excellence in all programs and adhere to client, local and international compliance requirements
Qualifications
The Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Finance or equivalent; with at least three years of relevant work experience, ideally gained in a client-service oriented environment (investment management/custodian back-office operations)
- Interest in financial investing and the investment field
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workflow is key
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable and successful in a team environment
- Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and Power Point to create and produce dynamics reports and spreadsheets with accuracy and clarity
- Enjoy working with numbers and compiling data, using your mathematical and analytical skills to maximize your efforts and thorough work ethic
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage workload effectively, and demonstrate effective time management skills as well as ability to self-motivate
