The Health Safety and Wellbeing Client Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering solutions by managing client relationships, executing projects, and ensuring strategic objectives are met. This role is also responsible for supporting the implementation of the team’s Strategic Plan.
As a key advisor, the Health Safety and Wellbeing Client Manager is accountable for tracking performance, driving business growth, and contributing to financial success. Whether leading projects independently or collaborating with a Project Lead, the Health Safety and Wellbeing Client Manager ensures that deliverables align with business and client expectations, driving measurable improvements and achieving client expectations. The Role
Our workplace risk practice focuses on the provision Workers’ Compensation, Employee Relations and Health, Safety and Wellbeing consulting and advisory services to a portfolio of diverse clients across virtually every industry.
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Delivering on a wide range of health and safety consulting proposals such as risk profiling, outsourced health and safety, wellbeing, training, safety culture assessments, health and safety management systems, critical risk reviews and more.
- Project management
- Providing strategic health, safety and wellbeing advice to existing clients
- Developing marketing material and providing health, safety and wellbeing updates
- Developing content and delivering training and webinars
- Developing strategic initiatives that respond to clients’ requirements
- Developing new products and services and/or enhancing current offerings
- Preparating and delivering high quality verbal and written reports
- Identifying and assisting the Manager Health Safety and Wellbeing Pacific with business development opportunities
- Auditing against health and safety standards
Qualifications
The Requirements
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in health and safety or related fields (preferable)
- Lead auditor qualifications (preferable)
- Mental Health First Aid Instructor (preferable)
Skills and Experience
- In depth knowledge of and proven experience in health, safety and wellbeing
- Solid experience in reviewing and developing health and safety management system frameworks
- A strong client focus, and the ability to build and manage client relationships by providing consistent, strategic advice and leading or supporting client engagements
- Project management experience, and the ability to develop and deliver on work plans in accordance with clients’ needs, timeframes and objectives
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of organisations, from the frontline up to executives and the board.
- Ability to work independently
- Experience coaching and mentoring health and safety professionals, and a willingness to contribute to the development internal talent
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of products (Office, Outlook, MS Teams, etc.) as well as project management tools and methodologies
Some inter/intrastate travel will be required. Applicants are required to hold a full and valid Australian Drivers Licence.
