    Description

    As a Data Scientist, you will develop and optimize data analysis and machine learning processes. Your responsibilities include writing efficient code, preparing and cleaning data, and enhancing data collection through web scraping and automation. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs, ensuring data integrity and security while optimizing data structures and processes for maximum efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities:


    •    Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable code for data analysis and model development, adhering to best coding practices.
    •    Clean and prepare structured and unstructured data for analysis, employing techniques to handle missing values, outliers, and inconsistencies.
    •    Contribute to web scraping and the automation of this process to enhance data collection capabilities.
    •    Proficiently use SQL for data querying and manipulation, ensuring robust data architecture and optimizing data structures and processes.
    •    Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) using visualization libraries like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Plotly to identify trends and patterns.
    •    Develop and implement machine learning models using Python libraries such as pandas, NLTK, and scikit-learn, with a good understanding of statistical techniques.
    •    Automate repetitive tasks and workflows for model training and deployment, enhancing efficiency and scalability.
    •    Present and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring insights are actionable and aligned with business objectives.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field.
    • Understanding of data normalization, denormalization, and schema design principles for analytics.
    • Experience with NLP and deep learning frameworks, including PyTorch and TensorFlow.
    • Proven ability to evaluate models using standard metrics such as accuracy, precision, and recall, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into business strategies.

    Compensation and Benefits 

    Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

    Compensation

    The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $90,000 to $120,000 USD per year.

    The role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
