    What does the Business/Geography Sales Operations team do? 

    The Business/Geography Sales Operations team connects colleagues from across WTW into one cohesive group to optimize sales productivity across geographies. The team's expertise in lead generation, digital marketing and communications, sales support and administration, and program management enables WTW to respond more quickly and effectively to colleagues' critical sales needs. 

    Particularly, you will be working with the Digital Marketing Operations team supporting the Health, Wealth & Career segment. Our team specializes in the setup and implementation, management, and performance reporting of various digital channels, including email, web, and virtual events. We provide support to drive awareness and connect with potential clients through these digital channels to ensure a seamless and effective digital presence. 

    The opportunities and support available 

    Our Intern Programme is designed for penultimate-year and final-year university students. It is currently expected that the duration of the internship will be five to six months. 

    We operate a hybrid working environment (i.e. a mixture of working in the office and at home). In order to get the most out of the Intern Programme at WTW, you will be expected to come into the office at least one day each week.  In addition to the scheduled in-office training and meetings about projects and stakeholder work, this will give you the opportunity to learn from your more experienced colleagues, as well as get to know your fellow interns.  

    An internship at WTW will give you valuable real-world experience. It will enable you to apply your education in an environment that is both intellectually challenging and rewarding. At the end of your time with us, you will have a greater understanding of what we do and how closely our career offerings match your career ambitions.  

    As a Business/Geography Sales Operations intern, you will enhance your core skills and expand your knowledge through hands-on experience in various aspects of digital marketing operations. You will also contribute to process improvement initiatives.  

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Support Digital Marketing efforts, including email communication, virtual event management, and performance reporting on digital assets 
    • Project management and ownership of monthly operations report  
    • Close coordination with workstream contacts for discussions on process updates/changes or creation, and creation or maintenance of process documentation and other assets on SharePoint 
    • Support other Business/Geography Sales Operations initiatives and projects

    Stage 3: Interview – this is an opportunity for you to meet with members of the team and for the team to understand your strengths, preferences and motivations. The interview will take place virtually, and there will be plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions.  

    Stage 4: Offer and acceptance. 

    Stage 5: Keeping in touch including office visit and contact with a member of the team you will be joining. 

    Stage 6:  On-boarding.

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate is a penultimate-year or final-year student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Management, Advertising, Operations, or a related field, and is willing to commit to a full-time internship program for 5 to 6 months. Attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude are required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint, is advantageous.
