    Description

    The Cluster Lead, HRG, is responsible for overseeing employee relations and compliance for several Lines of Businesses (LOBs) as well as enabling positive colleague engagement, overall wellness and work culture. HR programs and initiatives should support business growth for managing staffing, retention, organizational effectiveness and performance management. 

    Performance Objectives: 
    Excellence

    • Help establish analytics of human capital demographic data and HR program effectiveness including but not limited to;
      • Labor Relations:  Review labour law, labour market, government policy and the structure of the economy affecting employee welfare and labor proceedings.
      • Organization Development: Implement programs aimed at developing behavioural skills and productivity of colleagues, leveraging on Corporate and/or Regional programs to the extent possible
      • Engagement: Develop and implement programs aimed at enhancing the company culture ensuring inclusion and diversity

    People

    • Manage, guide and oversee the work deliverables of HR Generalists included in the span of assigned LOBs 
    • Work with Management Teams in monitoring colleague performance, investigating and resolving labor disputes, grievances, and complaints, developing and implementing labor relations strategies and policies that align with the company's goals and values, and staying updated on labor market trends. 

    Clients

    • Serve as trusted Advisor to consultants and practice leaders of each office working to implement strategic best practices and manage initiatives to support business growth  
    • Assist office leaders in managing more complicated performance issues and provide guidance on effective coaching and counselling. 
    • Work with managers to outline appropriate counselling and disciplinary steps and to ensure proper actions are taken in cases of involuntary termination
    • Ensure effective and timely internal communication on HR programs, organisation issues, and initiatives. 
    • Act as local office champion for work/life issues; coordinate with managers on alternative work arrangements, lead best place to work initiatives – help local offices to pursue innovative and best practice approaches to work/life issues which also support business objectives.
    • Ensure consistent and effective application of HR processes and programs. Ensure the effective application of exit interviews; work with managing consultant(s), practice leaders and managers to identify and correct high-turnover situations.
    • Ensure that discussions with the Office Leaders are managed effectively, based on mutual trust and mutually shared interests. 
    • Work with office leaders to champion the High Performing Culture - reinforce the objectives and expected outcomes of the work process. 
    • Facilitate the termination process as needed. 

    Financial

    • Ensure a good understanding of regional financial performance and utilise this in devising HR plans and programmes.
    • Utilise reporting to help businesses manage employment costs and associated issues

    Qualifications

    The Requirements:

    • College degree in Human Resources, Statistics, Analytics or a related course with at least 3 years of relevant experience in an equivalent role, preferably in professional services or shared services industry
    • Significant experience as a human resources generalist, and/or including responsibility for COE functions mainly in HR Dashboard and Analytics
    • Working knowledge of employment law in the Philippines 
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills 
    • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities – evidence of project management competencies
    • Experience in leading high-performing teams, and working across geographies
    • Ability to work independently and function well in a team and matrix environment 
    • Excellent networking and client relationship development capabilities
