    While we do not currently have a vacancy for a Senior Actuarial Analyst, our recruitment season for the Retirement team is starting soon, and we are looking to build a strong pipeline of spontaneous applicants.     As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the delivery of actuarial services, mentor junior colleagues, and support key projects in the Western Europe/Germany or UK pensions market.

    What You’ll Do

    • Technical Expertise: Serve as an expert on pensions, particularly within Western Europe/Germany/UK, addressing complex actuarial issues.
    • Data Analysis: Produce and analyze data reports for clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in all deliverables.
    • Project Management: Plan, prioritize, and deliver assigned project activities, keeping track of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks.
    • Team Collaboration: Work with consulting office teams, provide support to senior colleagues, and mentor junior analysts.
    • Risk Management: Identify and address risks or errors early, following company procedures.
    • Compliance: Stay up to date on regulatory and statutory requirements, ensuring compliance in all work.
    • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, offering technical insights and solutions.

    Qualifications

    What You’ll Bring

    We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a solid actuarial background and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have:

    • FIA qualification or good progress towards it.
    • Experience in actuarial valuations or consultancy, particularly in the pensions sector.
    • In-depth knowledge of Western Europe/UK DB Pensions, including familiarity with legislative requirements such as GMP.
    • Strong Excel skills for high-level data analysis and reconciliation.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders.
    • A proven ability to work collaboratively, support team members, and foster a culture of teamwork.
    • Demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
