The Role
Clients
- Develops strong client relationships by providing consistent, strategic advice and leading or supporting client engagements.
- Participates in executive reviews and supports reporting and presentation of trends
- Actively participates in industry forums contributing content
- Actively contributes to client-facing events and supports execution of the marketing plan through developing tailored content
People
- Undertakes professional development and recording Continuing Professional Development points
- Provides coaching and support to other internal stakeholders
- Provides coaching and strategic support to Health Safety Wellbeing Client Executives, building their capability in project delivery, client engagement, and technical knowledge. Supports professional development through informal mentoring and feedback
Financials
- Drives revenue opportunities through client relationship management
- Reviews project profitability, supporting the implementation of proactive strategies to mitigate risks
- Develops proposals that align with business goals and client needs
- Participates in new business tenders
- Accurately record leads in D365 to track new business opportunities
- Contributes to the development of new business strategies to achieve financial objectives
- Follows up outstanding payments and implements strategies to manage or recover bad debts in a timely and efficient manner
- Manages expenses and to ensure financial integrity
Excellence
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions around operational improvements.
- Contribute to development of the strategy for Health Safety and Wellbeing
- Execute the Health Safety and Wellbeing Strategic Plan for delegated strategic items
- Report on progress against delegated strategic objectives
- Develop monthly reports and participating in meetings to track individual performance
- Ensure adherence to company policies and internal processes
- Execute projects in accordance with relevant procedures
- Support product development
- Ensure zero errors and omissions
- Ensure compliance with the second-pair-of-eyes review process for all client work
Project Responsibilities
Works with a project lead on complex projects to:
- Assist in breaking down the project vision into tangible tasks and milestones.
- Identify dependencies between project tasks and communicate them to the team
- Participate in project planning sessions, ensuring there are realistic timelines and resource allocation
- Track daily progress of tasks, ensuring work aligns with project objectives
- Provide regular updates on task completion and flag any delays or issues
- Contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies
- Assist in gathering stakeholder requirements and translating them into actionable tasks
- Ensure all project tasks meet the defined quality standards
- Participate in task reviews to ensure deliverables align with client expectations.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and key decisions
- Track actual project costs versus budget and report any discrepancies
- Participate in project reviews to identify improvement opportunities
- Implement feedback to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project execution
Additional responsibilities, where working independently as a client lead (low to medium complexity):
- Define and communicate the project vision ensuring the team and stakeholders understand the product's
- purpose and direction
- Develop and maintain a high-level project roadmap aligning the roadmap with business objectives and
- client requirements
- Ensure stakeholders understand strategic goals
- Define tasks that need to be completed
- Prioritise tasks based on business value, dependencies, and customer feedback.
- Ensure that completed work meets standards and expectations
- Engage with stakeholders, gathering insights and feedback
- Set and managing expectations regarding delivery timelines .
- Ensure that the final product aligns with business objectives and customer expectations.
- Escalate risks and roadblocks to minimise disruptions.
- Monitor and ensuring profitability, taking corrective actions when needed
Qualifications
The Requirements
- Preferably degree qualified (exercise physiology, psychology, physiotherapy, health and safety)
- Lead Auditor Qualifications
- Preferably qualified as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor
Skills and Experience
- In depth knowledge of and proven experience in Health Safety and Wellbeing, preferably with 5–10 years of relevant experience
- Ability to demonstrate deep understanding of client needs ensuring service delivery aligns with client expectations
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organisation, including executives and the C Suite
- Ability to work Independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Knowledge of Agile project management methodology
Requirements
- Full Australian Drivers License
