Description

At WTW, we believe difference makes us stronger. We want our workforce to reflect the different and varied markets we operate in and to build a culture of inclusivity that makes colleagues feel welcome, valued and empowered to bring their whole selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive work environment throughout our organisation. We embrace all types of diversity.

A long‑term, strategic‑plus‑delivery leadership role in a flagship digital transformation programme.

If you're excited by the idea of shaping a product used by millions, influencing the future of digital member experiences, and owning a meaningful slice of a large-scale platform—this might be the perfect next step in your product journey.

The Role

Imagine stepping into a product world where your decisions shape the experience of millions of people—members planning their futures, employers supporting their workforce, and teams across WTW depending on the products you help bring to life. That’s the impact of the enterprise‑grade, multi‑tenancy B2B2C platform we are building for the UK market.

And as an Area Product Owner for Digital Products, your area becomes a crucial part of that story.

  • You’ll take ownership of a defined slice of this platform—its journeys, its features, its personas, and ultimately, the value it delivers. This isn’t a role where you simply manage tasks. It’s a role where you steer direction, champion clarity, and help shape a product that transforms how the pensions industry serves its customers.
  • You’ll find yourself constantly moving along the line between strategy and execution. One moment, you’re thinking long‑term—envisioning how your product area needs to evolve for a scalable future. The next, you’re deep in the detail, working with Designers, Product Managers, Analysts, Engineers, Developers, and Data experts to bring that vision into reality. It’s a balance that requires both creativity and discipline—and it’s where you’ll thrive.
  • You’re someone who naturally steps into ownership. You don’t wait for instructions—you listen, you analyse, you influence, and you guide. You’re the person who brings structure to ambiguity, clarity to complex problems, and momentum to cross‑functional collaboration. And you care deeply about impact—about building something that users love, that clients trust, and that the business can scale confidently.
  • You know the product lifecycle not just as a process, but as a rhythm. You can zoom out to shape direction and zoom in to refine epics or perfect requirements. You rally people around a shared purpose, but you’re just as ready to roll up your sleeves when the work needs hands‑on attention.

This role is more than a responsibility—it's a chance to build something meaningful, at scale, and leave a legacy in an industry ready for transformation.

At WTW, we trust you to know your work and the people, tools and environment you need to be successful. The majority of our colleagues work in a #LI-Hybrid style, with a mix of remote, in-person and in office interactions dependent on the needs of the team, role and clients.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring

  • Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, pensions, LegalTech, MedTech) is a strong plus.
  • Solid experience as a Product Owner delivering customer‑facing digital products, especially complex enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on expertise in product discovery, defining requirements, and handling scenarios/segments—ideally involving personalization and multi‑tenancy.
  • Proven ability to build and manage multi‑tenant products that are scalable and modular, without relying on bespoke solutions.
  • Comfortable working with micro‑service architectures and headless CMS platforms to deliver personalized content and experiences.
  • Experience contributing to digital transformation and product‑led operating models, with a focus on delivering value through the full product lifecycle.
  • Strong stakeholder and change management skills, with the ability to balance innovation, manage transitions, and respond quickly in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Confident in managing expectations, solving complex problems, and maintaining a collaborative approach—especially in multi‑tenant environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate between technical and non‑technical audiences and clearly explain product direction and capabilities.
  • A flexible, proactive mindset, with a “can‑do” attitude and commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
